Reichard missed his lone field-goal attempt and made all three of his extra-point tries during the Vikings' 21-17 win over the Browns. His field-goal miss may have been due to the ball hitting a camera wire, the Minnesota Star Tribune reports.
Reichard had a chance to tie the game at 17-17 early in the fourth quarter, but his field-goal try from 51 yards out sailed sharply wide right. If it had been ruled to hit the wire, he would have been allowed another attempt. It was Reichard's first missed field goal of the season, and through five games the second-year kicker has gone 8-for-9 on field-goal attempts and 11-for-11 on extra-point tries.

Rotowire
Reichard made both of his field-goal attempts and his lone extra-point try during the Vikings' 27-24 win over the Bears on Monday.
Reichard's 59-yard field goal at the end of the first half matched a Soldier Field record and brought the Vikings' deficit to four points. The 2024 sixth-rounder had a perfect start through Week 8 of his rookie season before suffering a quad injury in Week 9, which impacted his accuracy down the stretch as he went 10-for-14 on field-goal attempts over the final five weeks of the regular season. Vikings' Will Reichard: Cleared to kick Sunday
Rotowire
Reichard (quadricep) is active for Sunday's game against the Falcons.
Though Reichard carried a questionable tag into Sunday, the Vikings removed most of the mystery about his status by activating him from injured reserve Saturday and waiving John Parker Romo, who had handled kicking duties for each of the last four games. After he was a full participant in practice throughout the week, Reichard looks to have proven his health and will now resume what had been a banner rookie campaign before he landed on IR on Nov. 5. Through his eight appearances on the season, the sixth-round pick out of Alabama converted 14 of 16 field-goal attempts and 23 of 23 extra-point attempts.

Rotowire
Reichard (quadricep) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.
Reichard returned to practice Wednesday for the first time since being placed on injured reserve with a quadricep issue before Minnesota's Week 10 win over the Jaguars. However, if Reichard remains out Sunday, John Parker Romo will likely continue to serve as Minnesota's kicker.
