  • Ravens' Adisa Isaac: Might miss half the season

Isaac needs surgery on the dislocated elbow he suffered during Saturday's preseason game against Dallas and is expected be placed on injured reserve after final roster cutdowns, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. The 2024 third-round pick out of Penn State will likely miss at least half of his second NFL season, per Zrebiec. As a rookie, Isaac only appeared in four games and on 30 defensive snaps due to injuries and coach's decisions. Even if he's able to return in 2025, the outside linebacker faces stiff competition for snaps in the form of Odafe Oweh, Kyle Van Noy and 2025 second-rounder Mike Green.

  • Ravens' Adisa Isaac: Suffers dislocated elbow

Isaac suffered a dislocated elbow in Saturday's preseason game against Dallas and will be sidelined for a few weeks, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. A third-round pick out of Penn State last year, Isaac appeared in just four regular-season games as a rookie, logging four tackles (two solo) and one pass breakup. Now expected to miss multiple weeks, Isaac could be viewed as a candidate to be placed on injured reserve in Baltimore.

Isaac was sidelined for the Ravens' Week 15 win over the Giants due to a hamstring injury, but Wednesday's full practice indicates he's since moved past the issue. With the 2024 third-round pick from Penn State back at full health, he's expected to serve as one of Baltimore's top backup edge rushers for the remainder of the season.

Isaac (hamstring) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun reports. Isaac's NFL debut has been delayed by a hamstring issue, which sidelined him for the Ravens' first two games. However, following Wednesday's full practice session, it appears the rookie has now moved past the injury. Expect Isaac to serve as a depth piece in Baltimore's outside linebacker corps ahead of Week 3's matchup with the Cowboys.

Isaac (hamstring) didn't practice Sunday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. Isaac hurt his hamstring during rookie minicamp in May and was eventually placed on the active/non-football injury list. He was reinstated from that list Aug. 6, but the rookie linebacker appears to still be less than 100 percent. Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun speculates that Isaac could begin the campaign on IR.

  • Ravens' Adisa Isaac: Lands on NFI list

The Ravens placed Isaac (hamstring) on the active/non-football injury list Monday, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports. Isaac, a 2024 third-round pick, has dealt with a hamstring issue since Baltimore's rookie minicamp back in May, and it's now been declared a non-football injury. The details of Isaac's injury currently remain undisclosed, as does a timetable for his return, but if he's forced to miss a substantial portion of training camp, the rookie out of Penn State could have a difficult time ultimately carving out a role in a deep edge rusher rotation that already boasts Odafe Oweh, Kyle Van Noy and David Ojabo (knee).

  • Ravens' Adisa Isaac: Charm City bound

The Ravens selected Isaac in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 93rd overall. The Ravens went back to Happy Valley to address its pass rush, nabbing Isaac out of Penn State after spending a first-round pick on Odafe Oweh in 2021. Isaac suffered a torn Achilles in 2021 but came back strong the following season, playing all 13 games. Isaac truly made a name for himself in 2023 as a fifth-year senior with 7.5 sacks and 16 total tackles for loss. He's lean for an edge at 247 pounds, but he's also explosive with 4.7 speed. As it stands, he'll be part of a deep edge rotation in Baltimore that features Oweh, Kyle Van Noy, and David Ojabo.
