The Saints waived Martin (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Martin was placed on the Saints' IR this week with an undisclosed issue but will be eligible to play in 2023 after reaching an injury settlement. However, the severity of his injury isn't yet clear.

Martin has only appeared in two regular-season games during his NFL career, but he has not played a snap since 2021. He has spent time with the Chargers, Cardinals and Saints. The Cardinals signed Martin from their practice squad Saturday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official website reports.
Martin, along with Sean Harlow, was promoted to the active roster after the Cardinals released veteran depth offensive lineman Brian Winters. Arizona is also dealing with injuries to Kelvin Beachum (ribs) and Joshua Miles (ankle), so Martin and Harlow could both be thrust into action against the Jaguars on Sunday.
