  • Myjai Sanders: Gets sent packing

Sanders was waived by the Texans on Tuesday, After starting the 2023 campaign on Arizona's practice squad, Sanders was waived midseason and subsequently landed in Houston. From there, the 25-year-old suited up for seven games and ultimately recorded seven tackles (four solo). He is now set to look for his third team in as many seasons since entering the league in 2022.

  • Myjai Sanders: Waived by Arizona

The Cardinals waived Sanders (thumb) from injured reserve Tuesday. Sanders spent the first six weeks of the season on injured reserve but just had his practice window opened last week, suggesting he's now healthy. The 2022 third-round pick simply doesn't seem to be a fit under first-year coach Jonathan Gannon. Sanders appeared in 13 games as a rookie, made four starts, and recorded 23 tackles (17 solo) and three sacks. He should find a chance with another team.

  • Cardinals' Myjai Sanders: Lands on IR

The Cardinals placed Sanders (hand) on injured reserve Thursday. Sanders was originally not expected to be sidelined too long with his hand injury, but it has since lingered through the entirety of training camp. When healthy, he is expected to play a significant edge-rushing role. He will now not be eligible to return until Week 5 at the earliest.

  • Cardinals' Myjai Sanders: Arizona selects in third round

The Cardinals selected Sanders in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 100th overall. Sanders was a solid three-year starter at Cincinnati, but he was never close to dominant and his athletic traits probably aren't much better than average at 6-foot-5, 250 pounds. He projects more as a strong-side linebacker than one who truly pressures the edge consistently.
