Ja'Tyre Carter: Works out with Las Vegas
The Raiders hosted Carter (ankle) for a workout Tuesday, Anthony Galaviz of The Fresno Bee reports.
Carter sustained an ankle injury in mid-August while participating in training camp with the Steelers. The two sides reached an injury settlement in early September, and the 2022 seventh-rounder appears to have recovered from his ankle injury enough to work out with teams in need of depth on the offensive line.

Ja'Tyre Carter: Reaches injury settlement
The Panthers waived Carter (ankle) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Tuesday, Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Carter was slated to miss the entire 2025 season after reverting to IR in late August. By reaching an injury settlement, the 2022 seventh-rounder will be able to sign with a team once he has fully recovered from his ankle injury. Carter last saw regular-season action in 2023 with the Bears, when he appeared in 10 games (two starts).

Panthers' Ja'Tyre Carter: Moves to IR
Carter (ankle) cleared waivers Wednesday and reverted to injured reserve, per the NFL's official media site.
Carter suffered an ankle injury during the preseason finale. The 26-year-old offensive lineman played 10 games (two starts) with the Bears in 2023. He'll remain on injured reserve for the rest of the season unless he reaches an injury settlement with the team.

Panthers' Ja'Tyre Carter: Questionable to return Thursday
Carter (ankle) is questionable to return to Thursday's preseason contest against the Steelers, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Carter suffered an ankle injury in the first half in Pittsburgh, placing some doubt on his ability to return to action. If the offensive guard is unable to return Thursday, he'll shift his focus to being ready to go for the regular-season opener Sept. 7 in Jacksonville.

Bears' Ja'Tyre Carter: Not on Wednesday's injury report
Carter (illness) was not listed on Chicago's injury report Wednesday ahead of Sunday's game versus Detroit.
Carter made his way onto the Bears' injury report ahead of Week 9 with an illness, and he didn't suit up for that game, but it would seem he has fully recovered at this point. The seventh-round rookie guard has yet to make his regular-season NFL debut.
