  • Ravens' Tyler Linderbaum: Fifth-year option declined

The Ravens won't exercise Linderbaum's fifth-year option, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. According to Hensley, Baltimore's decision to decline Linderbaum's fifth-year option is purely financial and not performance-based. If the option had been exercised, the 2022 first-round pick out of Iowa would have earned $23.4 million in 2026, which is $5.4 million more than the NFL's highest-paid center. Linderbaum has been one of the league's best offensive linemen over the past two seasons, making consecutive Pro Bowls and starting 32 regular-season games. Expect the Ravens to pursue an extension in the near future rather than letting Linderbaum walk following the 2025 season.

  • Ravens' Tyler Linderbaum: Questionable for Week 12

Linderbaum (back) was a limited participant in Saturday's practice and is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Chargers, Cordell Woodland of 105.7 The Fan Baltimore reports. Linderbaum popped up on the Ravens' injury report Friday as a DNP due to a back issue, but he was able to go through Saturday's session in a limited capacity. Rookie seventh-round pick Nick Samac could make his first career NFL start at center Monday if Linderbaum is unable to play.

  • Ravens' Tyler Linderbaum: Past neck issue

Linderbaum (neck) told reporters Monday that he's ready to go for Thursday night's Week 1 matchup against the Chiefs, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. Linderbaum missed roughly half of Baltimore's training camp due to a neck injury, but it now appears the 2022 first-round pick has moved past the issue. Expect Linderbaum to be the Ravens' top center in 2024 now that he's returned to full health.

  • Ravens' Tyler Linderbaum: Sheds non-contact jersey

Linderbaum (neck) practiced Sunday without a non-contact jersey, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. Linderbaum dealt with a soft-tissue injury for most of August, but he appears to be making progress and seems to have a good chance of starting at center in Baltimore's Week 1 contest against the Chiefs on Thursday. His status should gain more clarity when the team's first injury report of the week is released Tuesday.

  • Ravens' Tyler Linderbaum: Not practicing due to injury

Linderbaum is dealing with a soft-tissue injury that is considered minor, and he will be held out of practice through the weekend, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. Though the injury doesn't appear to be serious. Baltimore is exercising caution with the Pro Bowl center. Linderbaum didn't practice Friday and won't practice Sunday, but he could return to the field next week.

  • Ravens' Tyler Linderbaum: Back in practice

Linderbaum (ankle) participated in practice Wednesday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN reports. Linderbaum was injured in the season opener and has not played since but has a chance to return against the Browns this week. While the 2022 first-round pick will look to play Sunday, Sam Mustipher will start if he ends up missing a third straight week.

  • Ravens' Tyler Linderbaum: Out again

Linderbaum (ankle) will remain sidelined for Sunday's game against the Colts. Linderbaum's absence will mark his second straight after he sprained his ankle in Week 1. As a result, Patrick Mekari will presumably start at center again. His next chance to suit up will come in Week 4 at Cleveland.

  • Ravens' Tyler Linderbaum: Will get MRI

Linderbaum will undergo an MRI on his ankle after suffering an injury in Sunday's 25-9 win over the Texans on Sunday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. Linderbaum exited the game late in the fourth and was unable to return. Whether he has a chance to play Week 2 against the Bengals likely won't be able to be answered until the test results are in. If he were to miss, Patrick Mekari or Sam Mustipher would likely fill in at center.
