I was way off on McMillan last week when I listed him as the Bust Alert at wide receiver, and he scored 33 PPR points at Atlanta. He had eight catches for 130 yards and two touchdowns on 12 targets, and he should stay hot in Week 12 at San Francisco. The 49ers are No. 6 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers, and four receivers in the past two weeks scored at least 17.4 PPR points against San Francisco from the Rams (Puka Nacua and Davante Adams) and Cardinals (Michael Wilson and Greg Dortch). McMillan will hopefully follow suit, and he's worth starting as a high-end No. 2 receiver in the majority of leagues.

Panthers' Tetairoa McMillan: Monster performance in Week 11
Rotowire
McMillan caught eight of 12 targets for 130 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 30-27 overtime win over the Falcons.
The 2025 first-round pick from Arizona had the best game of his young career in Sunday's win, setting new career highs in yards, touchdowns and receptions. He benefitted from quarterback Bryce Young's best performance as a pro, with Young finding him for scores in both the first and fourth quarter. Through his first 10 NFL games, McMillan has looked like a budding star, catching 54 of 89 targets for 748 yards and four touchdowns. He draws a great Week 12 matchup against a struggling 49ers defense and could be in line for another huge outing.
McMillan should be considered a borderline No. 2 Fantasy receiver at best in Week 11 against the Falcons, who held him to three catches for 48 yards on eight targets in Week 3. McMillan has one game this season with a touchdown, which was Week 6 against Dallas. And he's scored 11 PPR points or less in three of his past four games. Atlanta is No. 8 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers, and No. 1 receivers like Mike Evans (10.1 PPR points), Justin Jefferson (11.1), Jauan Jennings (7.1) and Michael Pittman (3.9) have struggled against the Falcons, who are led by standout cornerback A.J. Terrell. This could be another frustrating game for McMillan on the road.

Panthers' Tetairoa McMillan: Five grabs in Sunday's loss
Rotowire
McMillan caught five of eight targets for 60 yards in Sunday's 17-7 loss to the Saints.
The rookie wideout continues to be the most reliable downfield option in an underpowered Panthers passing attack. McMillan has at least three receptions in every game so far this year, putting together a 46-618-2 line on 77 targets in nine contests. He'll look for his first TD since Week 6 in a Week 1 clash with the Falcons.

Panthers' Tetairoa McMillan: Suiting up Sunday
Rotowire
McMillan (hamstring) is listed as active Sunday against the Saints, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
After McMillan was added to the Panthers' Week 10 practice report Friday as a limited participant due to a hamstring injury, coach Dave Canales expressed "concern" for the rookie wide receiver's status due to something that "popped up" during drills, per Alex Zietlow of The Charlotte Observer. McMillan thus took a questionable designation into the weekend, but Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Saturday evening that he was expected to suit up for Sunday's game, which has come to pass. It's unclear if McMillan will have a cap on his snaps, but considering New Orleans' defense has allowed the fourth-most TDs (11) and 10th-most yards per target (8.3) to opposing WRs in nine contests this season, he's a decent enough bet to take advantage of any looks he gets from QB Bryce Young.

Panthers' Tetairoa McMillan: Should play Sunday
Rotowire
McMillan (hamstring) remains listed as questionable but is expected to play Sunday against the Saints, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
McMillan was a late-week addition to the injury report Friday after the hamstring issue resulted in him being a limited participant in the Panthers' practice session that day. Fortunately, the injury doesn't seem to be too significant for the rookie first-round pick, though it's fair to wonder if he'll be able to play a full complement of snaps. McMillan owns a 41-558-2 receiving line on 69 targets through nine appearances on the season.

Panthers' Tetairoa McMillan: Coach concerned by hamstring injury
Rotowire
Panthers head coach Dave Canales acknowledged Friday that there's "concern'" about McMillan's hamstring after something "popped up" during Friday's practice, Alex Zietlow of The Charlotte Observer reports.
McMillan was added to the injury report Friday, listed as a limited participant in practice with a 'questionable' designation for Sunday's game against New Orleans. Canales said McMillan took a few practice reps after first noticing discomfort, but the wideout was then shut down for the rest of the day. The Panthers will evaluate McMillan on Saturday morning, at which point the team may or may not share any new information. Canales didn't make it sound like the hamstring injury is serious, but he did seem to acknowledge doubt about McMillan's Week 10 availability.

Panthers' Tetairoa McMillan: Added to report as questionable
Rotowire
McMillan was added to the injury report Friday with a hamstring issue, and he's listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Saints, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
McMillan was a limited practice participant Friday, after not being listed on the report at all Wednesday or Thursday. Panthers head coach Dave Canales told Person that the hamstring injury "popped up" Friday.

Panthers' Tetairoa McMillan: WRs to Start
Rotowire
Bryce Young (ankle) appears on track to return for the Panthers, which makes McMillan worth trusting as a No. 2 Fantasy receiver in the majority of leagues. McMillan actually played well with Andy Dalton in Week 8 against Buffalo with seven catches for 99 yards on 10 targets, and I like the matchup for McMillan against Green Bay. The Packers have allowed at least 16.5 PPR points to three No. 1 receivers in the past four games (George Pickens in Week 4, Ja'Marr Chase in Week 6 and DK Metcalf in Week 8). I'm hopeful that McMillan will follow suit, and he should be considered a solid No. 2 Fantasy receiver in the majority of leagues.

Panthers' Tetairoa McMillan: Just under century mark in loss
Rotowire
McMillan brought in seven of 10 targets for 99 yards in the Panthers' 40-9 loss to the Bills on Sunday.
McMillan was essentially the lone bright spot for the Panthers in the embarrassing loss, easily leading Carolina across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets. The rookie first-round pick showed good chemistry with Andy Dalton, and the talented wideout's catch total was a new career high while his target tally tied his high-water mark over the first eight games. McMillan should remain busy in a Week 9 road trip to Green Bay, a game in which the Panthers may have to eventually take a pass-centric approach.

Panthers' Tetairoa McMillan: Overshadowed by Legette
Rotowire
McMillan recorded three receptions on five targets for 33 yards in Sunday's 13-6 win over the Jets.
McMillan got the attention of Sauce Gardner (concussion) for most of the game, which led to limited opportunity and production. Ultimately, he was held to five targets and three receptions for the second consecutive game, combining to record only 62 yards in that span. Things could open a bit for McMillan in Week 8 against Buffalo, as the Panthers will almost certainly have to have an effective passing attack to have hope of keeping pace in the contest.

Panthers' Tetairoa McMillan: Sleepers (Start/Sit)
Rotowire
I thought McMillan would score his first NFL touchdown in Week 6 against Dallas, and he ended up getting two. He finished the game with three catches for 29 yards and two touchdowns on five targets, and he scored a season-high 17.9 PPR points. But this week, McMillan could struggle against the Jets, who are No. 7 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers. McMillan will likely line up against Sauce Gardner, and No. 1 receivers have struggled against the Jets this year, including DK Metcalf, Mike Evans, George Pickens and Courtland Sutton. All of those receivers scored at least 12.3 PPR points except Sutton, and Evans and Pickens scored touchdowns. That's encouraging, but McMillan should only be started in three-receiver leagues in Week 7 given the matchup.

Panthers' Tetairoa McMillan: Scores first two career TDs
Rotowire
McMillan secured three of five targets for 29 yards and two touchdowns in the Panthers' 30-27 win over the Cowboys on Sunday.
As his final line indicates, the rookie first-round pick made excellent use of his trio of catches, turning two of them into 19- and two-yard touchdown grabs for the first pair of end-zone trips of his career. Otherwise, McMillan's reception, yardage and target totals all tied or served as new season lows, making it a mixed bag of a day to an extent from a fantasy perspective. Nevertheless, McMillan's role as Carolina's No. 1 receiver is as iron clad as it gets, but he's likely to draw plenty of Sauce Gardner's attention in a Week 7 visit to the Jets next Sunday afternoon.

Panthers' Tetairoa McMillan: WRs to Start
Rotowire
McMillan is overdue for his first touchdown, and hopefully it happens this week against the Cowboys, who are No. 1 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers. In the past four games against Dallas, six receivers have scored at least 15.2 PPR points against the Cowboys, including one in each week, with 10 touchdowns over that span. We hope that trend continues in Week 6, and McMillan has at least eight targets in every game this season. He should be considered a solid No. 2 Fantasy receiver in the majority of leagues.

Panthers' Tetairoa McMillan: Top DFS Play
Rotowire
It feels like McMillan has been so close to a breakout, but other than the 100-yard game in Week 2 to production has remained fairly mediocre. That is at least partially because he hasn't reached the end zone yet. The Cowboys have already given up 10 touchdowns to opposing wide receivers. That lack of scoring has kept McMillan's price tag low, but I expect him to be a top 10 wide receiver this week.

Panthers' Tetairoa McMillan: WRs to Start
Rotowire
We keep waiting for McMillan to have a breakout game, and he's definitely getting plenty of chances with at least eight targets in each outing. He's yet to score a touchdown, and he only has one game with more than five catches or 68 yards. This week, McMillan could go off against the Dolphins, who have allowed three receivers to score at least 14.5 PPR points this season. Michael Pittman and Garrett Wilson each got eight targets against Miami, and both scored at least 20 PPR points. Let's hope McMillan gets at least eight targets again in Week 5.

Panthers' Tetairoa McMillan: Paces pass catchers in loss
Rotowire
McMillan secured four of eight targets for 62 yards in the Panthers' 42-13 loss to the Patriots on Sunday.
McMillan had been listed as questionable coming into the afternoon due to a calf issue, but the rookie first-round pick kept up his strong play while recording a team-high receiving yardage total. He also tied with Tommy Tremble for the team lead in targets, and given the disastrous team outcome for Carolina, the talented wideout's numbers were respectable. The Arizona product has risen above the Panthers' offensive struggles overall to eclipse the 60-yard mark in three of his first four NFL games, and he'll look to capitalize on a favorable matchup against the shaky Dolphins defense in a Week 5 home matchup next Sunday afternoon.

Panthers' Tetairoa McMillan: Cleared to play Week 4
Rotowire
McMillan (calf) is active for Sunday's game against the Patriots, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
McMillan took a questionable tag into the weekend after the calf issue kept him from practicing Wednesday before he logged limited sessions Thursday and Friday. The rookie wideout demonstrated enough progress in his recovery from the injury over the final two days of practice for the Panthers to sign off on him playing Sunday, and the expectation is that he'll be in line for his usual duties as Carolina's No. 1 receiver. After turning in a 14-216-0 receiving line on 27 targets through his first three games, McMillan could have more difficulty producing in Week 4 if he draws shadow coverage from standout Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez (hamstring), who is making his 2025 debut Sunday.

Panthers' Tetairoa McMillan: Expected to play vs. NE
Rotowire
McMillan (calf) is expected to play against the Patriots on Sunday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
McMillan and starting running back Chuba Hubbard are both on track to play Sunday, though fantasy managers may have to wait for an official update from the Panthers approximately 90 minutes before their 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. McMillan has posted 14 catches (on 27 targets) for 216 yards through the first three games of the regular season, and he will headline the Panthers' pass-catching corps that will be without wide receiver Xavier Legette (hamstring) and tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders (ankle).

Panthers' Tetairoa McMillan: Limited in return to practice
Rotowire
McMillan (hamstring) was limited at Thursday's practice.
McMillan popped up on Wednesday's injury report as a non-participant due to a hamstring issue, but he told David Newton of ESPN.com afterward that he'd be good to go for Sunday's contest at New England. Thursday's return to drills is a step in the right direction, but McMillan may need to practice fully Friday in order to avoid a designation entering the weekend.
