The Jets waived Camper during Sunday's cutdown day. The wide receiver cleared waivers and signed with the team's practice squad Monday before being cut Wednesday to make room for offensive lineman Kohl Levao.

The Jets waived Camper (head) on Sunday, Eric Allen and Amanda Vogt of the team's official site report.
The Jets signed Camper to the 90-man practice squad July 31, with the Boise State product accruing four catches (on seven targets) for 63 yards while adding one tackle across three preseason games. Camper won't be on the Jets' 53-man roster for the regular season, but he was signed to New York's practice squad Monday.

Jets' Cam Camper: Has possible concussion
Camper is being evaluated for a possible concussion and is questionable to return to Friday's preseason finale against the Giants.
Camper sustained a head injury in the second half of Friday's contest. The wide receiver will be evaluated by an independent neurologist. If Camper is deemed to have suffered a concussion, he will be placed into the league's five-step protocol. The 25-year-old will likely be waived come Sunday's cutdown day if he is not placed on season-ending injured reserve.
