Gordon rushed three times for minus-2 yards in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Panthers.
The rookie from Oklahoma State played 14 offensive snaps and served as Miami's top reserve running back again in the Week 5 loss. Gordon has now rushed 21 times for 58 yards and a touchdown this season while catching two of three targets for an additional four yards. He's expected to continue playing a reserve role on the Dolphins' offense in a Week 6 matchup against the Chargers.

Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Six carries in Week 4 win
Rotowire
Gordon rushed six times for 10 yards and failed to bring in his only target in the Dolphins' 27-21 win over the Jets on Monday night.
Gordon found much less running room than backfield mate De'Von Achane, who picked up 99 yards and scored a touchdown on his 20 totes. Gordon now has single-digit rushing yardage totals in three of his first four games, and although he's earned some short-yardage and red-zone work, he saw Achane cash in on an opportunity in the latter capacity with a nine-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. The rookie sixth-round pick's fantasy prospects remain modest heading into a Week 5 road matchup against the Panthers that is favorable for ground attacks.

Dolphins' Ollie Gordon II: Sleeper RBs
Rotowire
Gordon saw a season-high nine carries in Week 3 at Buffalo, and he responded with 38 yards and a touchdown. He should continue to work in tandem with De'Von Achane, and I would use Gordon as a flex option in Week 4 against the Jets. He'll likely need a touchdown to help his Fantasy production since he only has two catches for 4 yards on two targets this year, but the Dolphins will likely lean on Gordon in short-yardage situations and near the goal line. If the Dolphins are playing with a lead in this game, then Gordon could be a nice surprise for Fantasy managers, especially if he finds the end zone.

Dolphins' Ollie Gordon II: Week 4 Adds (RB Preview)
Rotowire
Gordon is tryin gto work his way into the Raheem Mostert role and took a step in Week 3 with nine rushes for 38 yards and a touchdown. The Jets lead the NFL with 39 missed tackles so there could be some big opportunities for both running backs in this game. Gordon is a much better flex in non-PPR as we still expect De'Von Achane to dominate passing downs for the Dolphins.

Dolphins' Ollie Gordon II: Week 4 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
Gordon ran well in Week 3 at Buffalo with nine carries for 38 yards and a touchdown, and he's worth adding in all leagues where available for up to 5 percent of your remaining FAB. He's clearly the No. 2 running back in Miami behind De'Von Achane, and the Dolphins might prefer to use Gordon in short-yardage situations and near the goal line right now. He's also a lottery ticket in case Achane misses any time, so stash Gordon on your bench if you have an open roster spot.

Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Minor role in Week 2 loss
Rotowire
Gordon rushed once for eight yards and secured his only target for five yards during Miami's 33-27 loss to the Patriots on Sunday.
Gordon was again relegated to a minor role behind starting RB De'Von Achane, even with Jaylen Wright (knee) sidelined a second straight week. With Wright seemingly a candidate to suit up Thursday night against the Bills in Week 3, Gordon's path to consistent offensive touches is only going to get cloudier. The rookie sixth-round pick's involvement could ramp up as the season progresses, especially if Miami's season goes completely off the rails, but for now Gordon isn't a consideration for weekly fantasy lineups.

Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Limited to three touches Sunday
Rotowire
Gordon rushed twice for four yards and brought in his only target for minus-1 yard in the Dolphins' 33-8 loss to the Colts on Sunday.
Gordon came into his first professional regular-season game with the prospect of filling a solid No. 2 role behind De'Von Achane. However, a wild first half that saw the Colts establish a 20-0 lead by intermission essentially nullified the ground attack, with Achane himself logging just seven carries on the day. As a result, Gordon was rendered a non-factor, but he could be in line for more opportunities during a Week 2 home matchup against the Patriots since Jaylen Wright (knee) is expected to remain sidelined for that contest.

Dolphins' Ollie Gordon II: Sleeper RBs
Rotowire
Mike McDaniel on Wednesday said about the expectations for Gordon in Week 1 at the Colts that Gordon will "have zero plays or all the plays, zero yards or all the yards — or somewhere in between." De'Von Achane (calf) is expected to play in Week 1 despite missing time during training camp, but Gordon should get enough touches to be a potential flex option in deeper leagues, especially with Jaylen Wright (leg) injured. If the Dolphins are cautious with Achane, then Gordon could get "all the plays" and be a nice surprise for anyone planning to use him.

Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Outplays team's other RBs on Sunday
Rotowire
Gordon rushed eight times for 33 yards and a touchdown while catching one of three targets for 39 yards in Sunday's 24-24 preseason tie against the Bears.
Gordon's touchdown came on a one-yard run in the fourth quarter. Jaylen Wright and Alexander Mattison (neck) entered the game prior to Gordon and each had a touchdown run as well, so Gordon still has some ground to make up in the competition to back up De'Von Achane, even with Mattison getting hurt Sunday. Gordon, whom the Dolphins selected in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, will look to build on this strong debut in the team's second preseason game against the Lions on Saturday.

Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Slide ends in Miami
Rotowire
The Dolphins selected Gordon in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 179th overall.
A year ago, it would have been considered a big surprise for Gordon to last this long in the draft. He was coming off a monstrous sophomore season at Oklahoma State with 285 carries for 1,732 yards and 21 rushing touchdowns. His junior year did not go as planned, however. Gordon's YPC dropped from 6.08 to 4.63, and he was held to 880 rushing yards on 190 attempts. The combine didn't help his stock much, as he tested below average in the 40 (4.61) and in the vertical (34.5). His fit in Miami is good, though. The Dolphins have two smaller, speedier backs and needed to add some thump. Gordon can provide that at 6-foot-1 and 226 pounds. The upside case for Gordon would be taking over a short-yardage and goal-line role in Miami.
