The Chiefs re-signed Hoskins on Friday, Jordan Schultz of TheScore.com reports.
Hoskins, who previously joined Kansas City's practice squad back in January, is currently in line to remain with the team for at least one more season following Friday's agreement. The 26-year-old has spent his first two years in the NFL as a depth option for Carolina's defensive line.

Hoskins was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.
The defensive tackle missed the Panthers' final two games of the season after being placed on the COVID list Dec. 28. Hoskins finished his rookie season with four tackles including one sack while appearing in three contests.

Panthers' Phil Hoskins: Placed on COVID-19 list
Hoskins (illness) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports, and he tested positive for the virus, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Hoskins missed Week 16 against Tampa Bay with a back injury, but now he'll also have to clear COVID protocols before he can get cleared to play Sunday against the Saints.
