Speed will move to Chicago's IR after going unclaimed off waivers, which means he'll be forced to miss the entire 2025 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with the Bears. Speed was waived by the Colts on Tuesday before signing with their practice squad Wednesday, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Speed will stick around Indianapolis after compiling nine total tackles (seven solo) with the team during the preseason. The cornerback will provide the Colts with an additional depth option in case of injury on the active roster.
