White appeared in 10 regular-season games for the Seahawks in 2025 but was released by the defending Super Bowl champions Sunday after failing to make the team's 53-man roster. White appears fully recovered after having been placed on IR due to a groin injury suffered in late December. Across 10 regular-season appearances in 2025, he secured three of four targets for 90 yards and one touchdown. White will spend the offseason competing for a chance to reprise a depth role in the Seahawks' wide receiver corps.

White sustained the injury early in the first quarter of last Sunday's game against the Titans. With the move to injured reserve, White will be able to return only for a potential Super Bowl matchup, and even then, only if the Seahawks do not score the first-round bye that comes with the NFC's top seed. In corresponding moves, the team signed Amari Kight to the active roster and signed Montorie Foster to the practice squad as a potential elevation replacement for White.

QB Sam Darnold threw the ball 36 times in this game, but White couldn't get into the rotation while playing just nine offensive snaps. The 27-year-old wide receiver has caught three passes for 90 yards and a touchdown over eight games this season.
White caught his lone target for 21 yards in Sunday's 26-0 win over the Vikings.
White recorded his first catch since Week 9 and his second of the season in the blowout win. He has totaled just 25 total snaps over the last two weeks, and his usage should remain limited as long as Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Cooper Kupp and Rashid Shaheed are healthy.
White wasn't targeted in Sunday's 30-24 win over the Titans.

White has now been elevated for a second consecutive week, meaning he has one more elevation before he will need to be signed to the active roster to suit up. The wide receiver caught one of two targets for a 60-yard touchdown in this past Sunday's win over the Commanders, and he will once again be used to fill some holes caused by injuries in the Seahawks' corps. With Cooper Kupp (hamstring) questionable, Tory Horton (groin/shin) doubtful, Jake Bobo (calf) out and Dareke Young (quadriceps) on injured reserve, White will likely have to be a meaningful contributor for the Seahawks offense alongside Jaxon Smith-Njigba and new trade acquisition Rashid Shaheed.
