Lions' Zach Morton: Removed from NFI list
Morton (undisclosed) has passed his physical and has been removed from the Lions' active/NFI list, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Morton started training camp on the Lions' active/non-football injury list, but he'll ultimately only spend a day there. Barring any setbacks, he is now good to go with everything as camp commences. He will be competing for a depth defensive end role with the team.

Lions' Zach Morton: Placed on active/NFI list
Morton was placed on the active/non-football injury list by the Lions on Thursday.
While he's currently unavailable, Morton will remain eligible to return to practice and eventually play at any point this preseason as he nurses an injury. With the Lions' first preseason contest coming Aug. 11 versus the Giants, the defensive end will have three weeks to get healthy before the start of game action.
