Panthers' Devin Lloyd: Fills up box score in Week 2 win
Lloyd recorded nine tackles (seven solo), including 1.0 sack, and three pass breakups, including a pair of interceptions, in Sunday's 34-3 win over the Falcons.
Additionally, Lloyd returned one of his two INTs for a 16-yard touchdown in the third quarter when he picked off undrafted rookie Jack Strand. Lloyd's first INT came against Cooper Rush on the previous Atlanta possession. Through two games, the Carolina linebacker has piled up 22 tackles (16 solo) while playing 85 percent of the defensive snaps.

Panthers' Devin Lloyd: Makes 13 tackles
Lloyd finished with 13 tackles (nine solo) in Sunday's 59-37 loss to the Bears.
The Panthers' defense did not have a good day, but Lloyd was at least active in his first game with his new team. Lloyd was working through a knee injury toward the tail end of training camp, but his absence from injury report indicates that the fifth-year pro will play in Sunday's regular-season opener against the Bears. Lloyd inked a three-year, $42 million contract with the Panthers in March after spending the first four years of his NFL career with the Jaguars, and he is slated to start alongside Bobby Okereke at inside linebacker, with both Claudin Cherelus and Jackson Kuwatch providing depth at the position.

Panthers' Devin Lloyd: Misses practice Wednesday
Lloyd (knee) sat out of practice Wednesday, Nick Carboni of WCNC Charlotte reports.
The linebacker needed some medical attention due to soreness in his injured knee, per Carboni. Panthers coach Dave Canales told reporters that Lloyd should be ready for Carolina's regular-season opener. The former Jaguar signed a three-year, $42-million contract with the Panthers in the offseason after recording more than 100 tackles in three of his first four NFL seasons.
