Giants' Patrick Ricard: Heading to Big Apple
Ricard agreed to terms Tuesday on a two-year contract with the Giants, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.
Ricard spent nine years in Baltimore with head coach John Harbaugh, and the duo will reunite in New York. Ricard, who will turn 32 years old in May, is expected to be the highest-paid fullback in the league. He'll set up running lanes and serve as a veteran leader for the young Giants, who will start second-year quarterback Jaxson Dart in 2026.

Ricard (calf) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rams.
Ricard was able to practice in a limited capacity Thursday and Friday, but he has not been cleared to return from a calf injury that he sustained during training camp in August. He'll have additional time to rest with the Ravens on bye Week 7, making Week 8 against the Bears on Sunday, Oct. 26 his next opportunity to make his 2025 regular-season debut.

Ricard (calf) didn't participate in Wednesday's practice, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
The veteran fullback from Maine has yet to return to practice after sustaining a calf injury in August. He likely needs to upgrade to a limited session Thursday or Friday in order to play in Baltimore's Week 6 matchup against the Rams.
