Packers' Zach Tom: Underwent surgery on knee
Packers GM Brian Gutekunst confirmed Tuesday that Tom (knee) underwent surgery this offseason to repair a partially torn patellar tendon, Dominique Yates of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Tom popped up on the injury report with a knee injury in December and ended up missing the Packers' final four contests of the 2025 season, including their wild-card loss to the Bears. The right tackle has started all 46 games in which he's appeared over the last three regular seasons.

Packers' Zach Tom: Expected to face six-month recovery
Tom (knee) is expected to have surgery on a partially torn patellar tendon and will face a six-month recovery after the procedure, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Tom didn't suit up for Green Bay's loss to the Bears in the wild-card game. He started all 12 regular-season games for which he suited up at right tackle and is under contract through the 2029 season on a four-year, $88 million extension.

Packers' Zach Tom: Not available against Bears
Tom (back) is inactive for Saturday's wild-card round game against the Bears, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
Tom logged two limited practices to begin the week but was downgraded to no participation Thursday. That was labeled as a rest day by head coach Matt LaFleur, though that now proves to be inaccurate. Tom's absence will leave a big void along Green Bay's offensive line, with Jordan Morgan set to step in at right tackle.

Packers' Zach Tom: Officially listed as questionable
Tom (back/knee) is officially listed as questionable for Saturday's wild-card matchup on the road against Chicago, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
Tom was listed as limited on Green Bay's first two practice reports this week, but he was listed as a non-participant Thursday due to what head coach Matt LaFleur labeled a "rest day." The starting left tackle hasn't played since injuring his knee Week 15 versus Denver, and he's also been managing a back injury since that game. LaFleur said Tom has "looked good in practice" and that the Packers will "give him up till gametime, and if he can go, he'll be out there."

Packers' Zach Tom: Limited in practice Wednesday
Tom (back) was limited in practice Wednesday.
Tom continued to show progression in his back injury on Wednesday, after being estimated as a limited participant in Tuesday's walkthrough. With back-to-back limited practices, the 26-year-old could be on track to play for the first time since Week 15 against the Broncos. The fourth-year pro's return could add a major boost to the offensive line as Green Bay prepares to play Chicago for the third time this season.

Packers' Zach Tom: Likely to play in wild-card round
Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said Tuesday that he expects Tom (back/knee) to play in Saturday's wild-card matchup against the Bears, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Tom missed the final three contests of the regular season, but he was a limited participant in Tuesday's walkthrough practice and appears to be trending in the right direction as Saturday's game approaches. The right tackle will have two more chances this week to potentially upgrade to full practice participation, which would likely allow him to approach Saturday's contest without a designation.

Packers' Zach Tom: Won't play vs. Minnesota
Tom (back/knee) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Vikings, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
Tom drew the questionable tag for Week 18 after being limited in practice all week due to back and knee injuries. He'll end up missing a third consecutive game, though he may have been able to play Sunday if the Packers had something to play for, but Green Bay is locked in as the No. 7 seed in the NFC playoffs, so Jordan Morgan will once again draw the start at right tackle. Given his ability to work in practice this past week, Tom is trending toward being available for the wild-card round of the NFC playoffs.

Packers' Zach Tom: Questionable for Week 18
Tom (back/knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Vikings, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
Tom was limited in practice all week due to knee and back injuries and has a chance to return Sunday from a two-game absence. Given that the Packers are locked in as the seventh seed in the NFC, the team could opt to sit Tom and give the fourth-year pro another week of rest before the wild-card round of the playoffs. If that were to be the case, then Jordan Morgan would likely draw the start at right tackle.

Packers' Zach Tom: Logs limited session Wednesday
Tom (back/knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
The fourth-year pro from Wake Forest has missed the Packers' last two games due to a back injury, but Wednesday's limited session suggests he could be nearing a return. Tom likely needs to practice in full Thursday or Friday to avoid carrying an injury designation into Sunday's regular-season finale against the Vikings.

Packers' Zach Tom: Inactive again
Tom (back) is inactive for Saturday night's game against the Ravens, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
Tom will officially miss consecutive weeks due to a persistent back injury. The right tackle has still not practiced since sustaining the injury in the Week 15 loss to the Broncos. Darian Kinnard is expected to log another start at right tackle in Tom's absence.

Packers' Zach Tom: Questionable to play Saturday
Tom (back/knee) is questionable to play Saturday versus the Ravens, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official website reports.
Tom was unable to practice at all during the week while nursing back and knee injuries, but the team has decided to leave the door open for him to play in Week 17. If he is unable to go against Baltimore, Darian Kinnard would likely draw another start at right tackle.

Packers' Zach Tom: Doesn't practice Wednesday
Tom (back/knee) didn't participate in Green Bay's walkthrough Wednesday.
Tom is still working through the knee and back injuries that forced him to miss the Week 16 loss versus the Bears. The 26-year-old will likely need to practice at some point this week in order to have a chance to suit up for Saturday's matchup versus the Ravens. However, Darian Kinnard would make a second straight start at right tackle if Tom ends up being unable to play.
