  • Rams' Kamren Kinchens: Good to go vs. New Orleans

Kinchens (toe) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Saints, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports. Kinchens sustained a toe injury against the Jaguars in Week 7. He received additional rest courtesy of the Week 8 bye and was able to log a full practice Friday to shed an injury tag heading into Sunday's game. The second-year safety has 36 tackles (23 solo) and three pass defenses through seven regular-season games.

  • Rams' Kamren Kinchens: Still tending to toe issue

Kinchens (toe) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports. Kinchens hurt his toe during the Rams' last game before their Week 8 bye at Jacksonville, and now it's threatening his availability for Week 9. He'll likely have to upgrade to full participation at practice Thursday or Friday to avoid carrying an injury designation into the weekend.

  • Rams' Kamren Kinchens: Exits game with toe injury

Kinchens (toe) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Kinchens went to the sidelines to have his toe evaluated by trainers to determine whether he can return for the second half of Sunday's game. Jaylen McCollough would be in line to see more snaps at safety for as long as Kinchens is out of the game. Kinchens tallied five tackles (four solo) prior to his exit.

  • Rams' Kamren Kinchens: Upgrades to full Thursday

Kinchens (knee) upgraded to a full practice Thursday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports. With the full practice, Kinchens should be in line to handle his normal role Sunday against the Ravens. On 81 percent of the defensive snaps this season, Kinchens has recorded 26 tackles (16 solo) and three pass breakups.

  • Rams' Kamren Kinchens: Limited in Wednesday's practice

Kinchens (knee) was a limited participant in the Rams' practice Wednesday, Stu Jackson of the team's official site reports. Kinchens is dealing with knee soreness, though it's unclear when he sustained the injury. If the 23-year-old ends up being unable to play Sunday against Baltimore, Jaylen McCollough would likely start at safety in his place.

  • Rams' Kamren Kinchens: Deemed full participant Tuesday

Kinchens (shoulder) was estimated as a full participant in Tuesday's practice walkthrough, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports. Kinchens has been dealing with a shoulder injury since early last week, but he was able to suit up in this past Sunday's win over Indianapolis. After being estimated as a limited practice participant Monday, Kinchens' return to full participation (albeit in a walkthrough) Tuesday suggests that he'll be able to take on his usual starting role Thursday versus San Francisco.

  • Rams' Kamren Kinchens: Back to limited practice

Kinchens (shoulder) was deemed a limited participant in Monday's practice estimate. Los Angeles didn't actually hold a practice Monday, so Kinchens' designation of limited is an estimation. The second-year safety was also limited at the Rams' first practice last week but moved up to a full session one day later and logged close to his usual workload Sunday versus Indianapolis. With that in mind, it's likely that Kinchens is in line to play Thursday versus San Francisco as long as he didn't aggravate the shoulder issue.

  • Rams' Kamren Kinchens: Leading tackler in win

Kinchens tallied 10 tackles (seven solo) during the Rams' win over the Titans on Sunday. Kinchens led Los Angeles in tackles during Sunday's victory and has now amassed 14 tackles (nine solo) across the first two games of the campaign. The 22-year-old is coming off a strong rookie campaign, where he recorded 57 tackles (36 solo) and four interceptions in 17 games and will look to have similar production during the current season.

  • Rams' Kamren Kinchens: Records four INTs in rookie season

Kinchens played in all 17 regular-season games in 2024 and finished with 57 tackles (36 solo), six pass defenses (including three interceptions and a pick-six), and one forced fumble. He added 11 tackles (eight solo) across the Rams' two playoff games. The rookie third-round pick mostly served in a special-teams role during the first half of the regular season, but he made his first career NFL start in Week 10 against the Dolphins. He started in three other regular-season games and drew the start for the Rams' NFC wild-card win against the Vikings. Kinchens will compete for a permanent starting spot in the Rams' secondary for the 2025 campaign.

  • Rams' Kamren Kinchens: Picks off Maye in Week 11

Kinchens recorded eight total tackles (six solo), one interception and one forced fumble in Sunday's 28-22 win over the Patriots. The 2024 third-round pick from Miami continues to see his role expand on the Rams' defense, recording a career-high eight stops in Sunday's win. Kinchens has also nabbed three interceptions in the past three weeks while playing 51, 76 and 56 percent of the Rams' defensive snaps, respectively. Don't be surprised if the rookie earns more playing time as the season progresses, especially if he maintains his Week 11 performance level.
