Jets' Quincy Skinner: Signs with Jets
The Jets signed Skinner to a contract Thursday, Eric Allen of the team's official site reports.
Skinner signed with the Falcons in 2025 as an undrafted free agent but was unable to make his NFL debut with the team. The wide receiver had 29 receptions for 367 yards and three touchdowns while adding one carry for 22 yards in his final season with Vanderbilt in 2024. The Jets waived/injured Jalen Walthall in a corresponding move.

Quincy Skinner: Won't make Atlanta's roster
The Falcons waived Skinner on Saturday, Terrin Waack of the team's official site reports.
Skinner signed with the Falcons in late April as an undrafted free agent. He entered training camp looking to earn a depth spot on the 53-man roster but didn't produce enough offense, finishing with three catches (on five targets) for 29 yards. Assuming he clears waivers, Skinner will explore his next options and look to catch on with a team in need of pass-catching depth.

Falcons' Quincy Skinner: Secures lone target
Skinner caught his only target for 14 yards during Friday's 17-10 preseason loss to the Lions.
Despite all of the starters and most of the primary reserves sitting this one out, the undrafted rookie out of Vanderbilt played only two offensive snaps. Skinner is unlikely to make the 53-man roster in a crowded wideout room.
