The Ohio State product played 20 total snaps (four defensive and 16 on special teams) and recorded two total tackles before sustaining a knee injury in the Steelers' Week 1 win over the Jets. The injury is severe enough for the 2020 third-rounder to miss at least one week, and he'll work on recovering enough to be available for Week 3 against the Patriots on Sunday, Sept. 21. Carson Bruener could see some rotational snaps at inside linebacker for as long as Harrison is sidelined.

Harrison is slated to sign a two-year, $10-million deal with the Steelers when free agency officially opens Wednesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. The 2020 third-round pick of the Ravens is staying in the AFC North after playing his first five seasons in Baltimore. Last year, Harrison served in a rotational role before earning the starting job in Week 11 and recording 36 tackles (15 solo) over the Ravens' final seven regular-season games.
