Houston activated Dwumfour from injured reserve Saturday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Dwumfour hasn't played since Week 5 while on IR due to a shoulder injury, but he'll likely be back in the mix during Sunday's matchup against Washington. Across four appearances this season, the second-year defensive end has totaled two tackles across 108 defensive snaps.

Texans' Michael Dwumfour: Designated to return from IR
Dwumfour (shoulder) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday.
Dwumfour is set to return to practice for the first time since being placed on IR in October with a shoulder issue. The Texans will have 21 days to either activate him or leave him on IR for the remainder of the season, the first of which seems more likely.
