Saints' Mac McCain: Ready for preseason game
McCain (undisclosed) was seen participating in warmups ahead of Sunday's preseason game against the 49ers, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
McCain was held out of practice at the beginning of the week due to an undisclosed injury, but he appears healthy enough to suit up Sunday. He compiled three tackles in the Saints' preseason opener against the Cardinals on Aug. 10.

McCain (undisclosed) was absent from the Saints' practice Sunday, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.
McCain compiled three tackles in Saturday's 16-14 win over the Cardinals, but he may have picked up an injury in the process. The cornerback will look to be back out on the practice field before next Sunday's matchup with the 49ers.

Saints' Mac McCain: Latches on with New Orleans
The Saints signed McCain on Thursday.
McCain was waived by the Panthers with an undisclosed injury last September, and he appears to now be back to full health. The 26-year-old hasn't played in an NFL game since getting into two contests with Philadelphia in 2021 but will have a chance in training camp to compete for a depth role in New Orleans' secondary.
