  • Dolphins' Cedrick Wilson: Ready for Week 6

Wilson (knee) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Chargers, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports. Wilson upgraded to a full practice Friday after beginning the week with consecutive limited sessions, suggesting he's moved past his knee injury in time to face the Chargers on Sunday. The veteran wideout was signed off the Saints' practice squad in late September and has yet to play this season. He'll likely play a reserve role in Miami's wide-receiver corps in Week 6.

  • Dolphins' Cedrick Wilson: Progressing through knee injury

Wilson (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Wilson was signed off the Saints' practice squad to the Dolphins' active roster Sept. 30, but he was unable to make his debut with his new team against the Panthers in Week 5 due to a knee injury. His ability to practice in at least a limited capacity indicates that he is progressing in his recovery, and his participation over the next two days will indicate his chances of playing against the Chargers on Sunday.

  • Dolphins' Cedrick Wilson: Dealing with injury

Wilson (undisclosed) won't practice this week, Alain Poupart of SI.com reports. Wilson was signed by the Dolphins off the Saints' practice squad Tuesday, but it now appears he's dealing with an undisclosed injury. The Boise State product played in 15 games with the Saints in 2024, catching 20 of 27 targets for 211 yards and one touchdown. If Wilson is sidelined for the Week 5 matchup against the Panthers, Miami may add another wide receiver to its active roster to bolster depth with Tyreek Hill (knee) unavailable.

  • Dolphins' Cedrick Wilson: Heading to Miami

The Dolphins signed Wilson off the Saints' practice squad to the active roster Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. The move gives Miami much-needed depth at wide receiver following Tyreek Hill's season-ending knee injury during Monday's win over the Jets. Wilson spent most of September on the Saints' practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster in training camp, but he'll get a new opportunity with the Dolphins in a depth role in the passing game behind Jaylen Waddle, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Malik Washington, Dee Eskridge and tight end Darren Waller. Wilson played in 15 regular-season games for the Saints in 2024 and finished with a 20-211-1 line on 27 targets.

  • Cedrick Wilson: Back with Saints' practice squad

The Saints signed Wilson to the practice squad Monday, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. Wilson will return to the Saints' practice squad after initially being cut Thursday. The 2018 sixth-rounder hasn't appeared in a regular-season game this year after appearing in 15 contests for the Saints in 2024, when he posted 20 catches (on 27 targets) for 211 yards and one touchdown. Wilson would be a candidate to be elevated to the active roster if the Saints require depth at wide receiver.

  • Cedrick Wilson: Cut from practice squad

The Saints released Wilson from the practice squad Thursday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports. The 29-year-old Wilson was apart of New Orleans' final cuts this summer and signed back with the practice squad ahead of Week 1. He's yet to play in a regular-season game this season.

  • Cedrick Wilson: Lands back with Saints

The Saints released Wilson and then signed him to their practice squad Wednesday, Luke Johnson of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. Wilson took a pay cut to remain in New Orleans this offseason, but he still wasn't able to make the initial roster. He'll be a top candidate to be elevated to the active roster if the Saints suffer any injuries at wide receiver.

  • Saints' Cedrick Wilson: Quiet first season in New Orleans

Wilson appeared in 15 regular-season games for the Saints in 2024, totaling 20 catches (on 27 targets) for 211 yards and one touchdown. Wilson saw consistent playing time as the third or fourth wideout for the Saints this season. The 29-year-old joined New Orleans on a two-year, $5.2 million contract in March after spending his previous two seasons in Miami. Wilson was expected to provide some veteran depth behind top wideouts Chris Olave (concussion) and Rashid Shaheed (knee), but he never made much of an impact even though the duo missed the final nine and 11 games of the season, respectively. Wilson logged more than three receptions in just one game, and he ultimately finished with less than 25 catches for the third season in a row. He'll likely have to compete for a reserve role once again heading into the 2025 season.

  • Saints' Cedrick Wilson: Makes one catch in Week 14

Wilson took the field for 25 of the Saints' 68 snaps on offense and finished with an 18-yard reception on his lone target in Sunday's 14-11 win over the Giants. Wilson served as New Orleans' No. 3 wideout in Week 14, narrowly edging out Dante Pettis (21 snaps) in playing time. Though the losses of Chris Olave (concussion) and Rashid Shaheed (knee) have opened up more opportunities in the Saints' wideout corps, Wilson hasn't been able to capitalize. Since accruing a season-best 6-57-1 receiving line on seven targets in Week 7 against Denver, Wilson has managed just four catches for 71 yards and no touchdowns on five targets over his subsequent four appearances.

  • Saints' Cedrick Wilson: Back in action Sunday

Wilson (shoulder) is listed as active Sunday against the Browns. Wilson has missed two of the last three games, first due to a hip injury and then a shoulder issue, but after being listed as limited on all three Week 11 practice reports, he'll be back in action Sunday. The Saints currently have three wide receivers -- Chris Olave (concussion), Rashid Shaheed (knee) and Bub Means (ankle) -- on injured reserve, and Mason Tipton is a healthy scratch, so Wilson will be vying with Marquez Valdes-Scantling and the elevated Kevin Austin and Dante Pettis for snaps. In his last three appearances, Wilson has accrued a 10-119-1 line on 13 targets.

  • Saints' Cedrick Wilson: Questionable for Week 11

Wilson (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Cleveland, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports. Wilson was a limited practice participant all week after missing Sunday's 20-17 win over the Falcons. He may have a significant role if he avoids the inactive list before a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, as the Saints have arguably the thinnest WR room in the league right now. Their wideouts combined for just six targets in the win last week, with two of those being TD passes to Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

  • Saints' Cedrick Wilson: Stays limited Thursday

Wilson (shoulder) was limited at practice Thursday. Wilson injured his shoulder Week 9 at Carolina and wasn't able to practice last week en route to inactive status this past Sunday against the Falcons. With back-to-back capped sessions to begin Week 11 prep, he's put himself in a position to return to action Sunday versus the Browns, but Friday's practice report will reveal whether or not he takes a designation into the weekend.

  • Saints' Cedrick Wilson: Misses practice with shoulder issue

Wilson (shoulder) didn't practice Wednesday. Wilson missed some time during this past Sunday's loss at Carolina due to a shoulder injury but ultimately was able to finish out the contest on his way to two catches (on three targets) for 34 yards. With an absence from practice under his belt to begin Week 10 prep, his status will be on to monitor to see if he may be able to help fill in for Chris Olave, who emerged from Week 9 with a concussion following a big hit and may require a stint on injured reserve.

  • Saints' Cedrick Wilson: Status in question for Sunday

Wilson (hip) is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest at Carolina, John Hendrix of SI.com reports. Wilson managed a pair of limited practices to wrap up Week 9 prep after sitting out Wednesday's session due to a hip injury, giving him a chance to be available Sunday. Meanwhile, fellow WR Bub Means (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game. With Rashid Shaheed (knee) out for the season, Wilson would be among the options behind Chris Olave for snaps and targets if he's active along with Mason Tipton, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Jermaine Jackson.

  • Saints' Cedrick Wilson: No practice Wednesday

Wilson (hip) didn't practice Wednesday. The same can be said for fellow wideout Bub Means, who emerged from the Saints' Week 8 loss to the Chargers with a high-ankle sprain. Wilson hasn't practiced since last Wednesday, when he was a limited participant, so he may need to return to the field in at least that capacity to have a chance to return to action Sunday in Carolina. At the moment, Chris Olave, Mason Tipton, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Jermaine Johnson are the healthy options at the position on New Orleans' active roster.

  • Saints' Cedrick Wilson: No practice Thursday

Wilson (hip) didn't practice Thursday. After logging a limited session Wednesday due to a hip injury, Wilson didn't mix into drills at all one day later, which is a somewhat worrisome sign in advance of the weekend. Friday's practice could be telling for his odds to suit up Sunday at the Chargers, but if he ends up being available, he'd help to fill the void left behind by Rashid Shaheed, who is out for the season following meniscus surgery.

  • Saints' Cedrick Wilson: Good to go vs. Denver

Wilson (ankle) was a full participant during Wednesday's walkthrough session and doesn't have an injury designation for Thursday's game against the Broncos. Wilson may still be at less than 100 percent, but he's played through the injury for most of the regular season and will do so again Thursday. Top wideouts Chris Olave (concussion) and Rashid Shaheed (knee) have both been ruled out, so Wilson could be in store for a regular spot in three-wideout sets alongside Mason Tipton and Bub Means.

  • Saints' Cedrick Wilson: Still nursing ankle injury

Wilson (ankle) was listed as a limited participant on Monday's practice estimation. Wilson played through his ankle issue in the Saints' Week 6 loss to the Buccaneers, catching two of his three targets for 28 yards across 35 offensive snaps. The 28-year-old wideout is expected to continue playing through injury Thursday night in New Orleans' Week 7 matchup against the Broncos unless he downgrades to a DNP either Tuesday or Wednesday.

  • Saints' Cedrick Wilson: Questionable to face Falcons

Wilson (ankle) didn't practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Atlanta, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports. Wilson played through an abdominal injury last week but now is in danger of missing a game due to an ankle issue. He was a full participant Wednesday before downgrading to limited Thursday and absent Friday. Rookies Mason Tipton and Bub Means are the top candidates to fill in as the No. 3 receiver if Wilson ends up inactive this Sunday.

  • Saints' Cedrick Wilson: Nursing ankle injury

Wilson (ankle) was limited during Thursday's practice session. Wilson was able to play in Week 3 against the Eagles after nursing an abdomen injury throughout the week. He was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, but it appears Wilson is now dealing with an ankle issue. Friday's final injury report will provide clarity on his status for Sunday's NFC South showdown against the Falcons.
