Elijah Ponder: Waived off IR
The Buccaneers have waived Ponder (undisclosed) off injured reserve with an injury settlement, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Ponder was facing the possibility of spending the entire 2022 season on IR before reaching this injury settlement. Now, the 24-year-old linebacker can search for a new landing spot once he is fully recovered from his undisclosed injury.

Buccaneers' Elijah Ponder: Moved to IR
Ponder (undisclosed) reverted to the Buccaneers' injured reserve Wednesday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Ponder went unclaimed after he was waived with an injury designation by Tampa Bay on Tuesday, causing him to land on IR. As a result, the 24-year-old linebacker likely will have to wait until the 2023 campaign to make his NFL debut, barring an injury settlement this season.

Elijah Ponder: Waived with injury designation
The Buccaneers waived Ponder (undisclosed) with an injury designation Tuesday, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.
The extent of the injury remains unclear. However, if Ponder clears waivers, he'll revert to Tampa Bay's injured reserve list, which -- barring an injury settlement -- would end his 2022 campaign.
