Masterson (knee) worked out with the Patriots on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Masterson spent the final 13 contests of the 2024 campaign on injured reserve with the Raiders after suffering a knee injury but he now appears to be back to full health. The linebacker recorded 17 total tackles (10 solo) over four games with Las Vegas and he'd offer any interested teams an experienced reserve option in 2025.

Raiders' Luke Masterson: Limited to four games in 2024
Rotowire
Masterson (knee) compiled 17 tackles (10 solo) across four regular-season games with the Raiders in 2024. He spent the team's final 13 contests on IR.
Masterson is set to become a restricted free agent this offseason, making it likely that he'll get a chance to stick with Las Vegas as he progresses in his recovery from a knee injury sustained Week 4. If indeed kept in house by the Raiders, Masterson will get a chance to compete for a depth role at linebacker for the 2025 campaign.

Raiders' Luke Masterson: Won't play Sunday
Rotowire
Masterson (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Broncos, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
Masterson didn't practice Thursday after logging a limited session Wednesday, so it's no surprise that the Wake Forest product won't suit up Sunday. Expect Amari Gainer to serve as the Raiders' top strongside linebacker while Masterson continues to recover from his knee injury.

Raiders' Luke Masterson: Paces Vegas in tackles Saturday
Rotowire
Masterson recorded 10 tackles (six solo) in Saturday's 13-10 loss to the Steelers.
While the Raiders continue to deal with numerous injuries within their linebacker corps, Masterson has seemingly stepped up into the team's primary rotation over the last few weeks. He's now logged back-to-back games with double-digit stops, and the rookie will likely remain a key defensive contributor over the final two contests of the 2022-23 campaign.
