  • Alex Bachman: Remaining with Raiders

Las Vegas signed Bachman to its practice squad Wednesday. Bachman didn't make the Raiders' initial 53-man roster but is remaining with the organization. He spent most of the last year on Las Vegas' practice squad but did get into six regular-season games, catching all three of his targets for 31 yards.

  • Alex Bachman: Fails to make Raiders' roster

The Raiders released Bachman on Tuesday. Bachman spent most of the 2024 season on the Raiders' practice squad, though he did play in six regular-season games. He entered training camp gunning for a spot on the 53-man roster but wasn't able to separate himself from the competition, finishing with four catches (on seven targets) for 51 yards across three preseason games. Bachman is a candidate to return to the Raiders as a member of the team's practice squad.

  • Alex Bachman: Let go by Las Vegas

The Raiders waived Bachman on Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Bachman struggled to establish himself in the Raiders offense, failing to see a target in five of six regular-season games. Should he clear waivers, the 28-year-old will look to catch on with a team in need of depth at wide receiver. His tenure with the Raiders will end with him having caught three passes for 31 yards, all of which took place in Week 6 against the Steelers.

  • Raiders' Alex Bachman: Not targeted against Rams

Bachman was not targeted in Sunday's 20-15 loss to the Rams. Bachman, who was signed to the Raiders' active roster this past week after exhausting his three practice squad elevations for the season, did not earn a single target against the Rams despite playing 36 of 79 offensive snaps. Bachman's playing time figures to drastically decrease upon Jakobi Meyers' (ankle) return to action, which could come in Week 8 versus the Chiefs.

  • Alex Bachman: Heads back to practice squad

Bachman reverted to the Raiders' practice squad Monday. Bachman was elevated for the third straight game Week 6 and logged 27 of Las Vegas' 63 offensive snaps in a loss against Pittsburgh. The wideout finished with his first three catches of the campaign (on three targets) for 31 yards. A player can be elevated from the practice squad only three times in a campaign, so the Raiders will need to sign Bachman to the 53-man roster if they want him to play again Week 7 versus the Rams. The likelihood of that happening could depend on whether Davante Adams (hamstring) and/or Jakobi Meyers (ankle) are able to return to game action.

  • Raiders' Alex Bachman: Three catches in Sunday's loss

Bachman caught all three of his targets for 31 yards in Sunday's 32-13 loss to the Steelers. Bachman made his first three receptions of the season Sunday after being elevated from the practice squad for a third consecutive game, matching fellow receiver Kristian Wilkerson's 27 offensive snaps behind fill-in starters Tre Tucker and DJ Turner. However, Bachman has exhausted his three permitted practice-squad elevations for the season, so the next time he suits up on game day, he must be a member of the 53-man roster. Regardless, Jakobi Meyers (ankle) appears likely to return from his injury against the Rams in Week 7.

  • Raiders' Alex Bachman: Third straight elevation

Bachman was elevated from the practice squad Saturday ahead of Sunday's game against the Steelers. Bachman has now been elevated to the active roster for three consecutive weeks. He played only one offensive snap on the first two occasions, though he could be slightly more involved, as Davante Adams (hamstring) is out and Jakobi Meyers (ankle) is officially listed as doubtful.

  • Alex Bachman: Back to practice squad

Bachman reverted to the Raiders' practice squad Monday. Bachman was elevated to the active roster with Davante Adams (hamstring) out of action. The Wake Forest product saw one snap on offense, and although he handled punt return duties, he only got to handle two fair catches. With Adams likely remaining out for Las Vegas, the 28-year-old Bachman may find himself back with the team for Week 6.

The Texans removed Bachman (oblique) from IR with an injury settlement Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. The 26-year-old previously spent time with the Giants in 2020 and 2021, appearing in a total of four contests, but he never saw a target. He'll work to earn a role in Houston next season.

Bachman was elevated to the Giants' active roster from the practice squad Saturday for Sunday's game against the Bears, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Bachman didn't play any offensive snaps in his lone game action of the season, but he'll receive another opportunity Sunday. The 25-year-old could receive some opportunities in the passing game since Kenny Golladay and fellow practice-squad promotions Pharoh Cooper and Davis Sills are New York's only available wideouts.
