  • Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Officially on IR

Hill (knee) has officially been placed on IR by the Dolphins. Per Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN, Hill -- who underwent a major procedure Tuesday to repair his dislocated left knee and multiple torn ligaments, including his ACL -- won't need additional surgery, with agent Drew Rosenhaus indicating afterward that the wideout will play next season, while noting that "the realistic goal is the start of the season." In Hill's absence for the rest of the 2025 campaign, Malik Washington and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine are in line to see expanded roles alongside top WR Jaylen Waddle, with Dee Eskridge, Cedrick Wilson and Tahj Washington available to mix in.

  • Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Eyeing 2026 return

Hill isn't expected to require any follow-up procedures after undergoing successful surgery Tuesday to repair a dislocated left knee and multiple torn ligaments, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Hill's agent Drew Rosenhaus indicated that the receiver's surgery "went very well according to his doctors," and a return to game action at the start of the 2026 season is considered a "realistic goal." Though the 31-year-old will face the tough challenge of working his way back from a major knee injury that included an ACL repair, the fact that he seemingly avoided any nerve damage and won't need multiple surgeries bodes well for his long-term outlook. That being said, his availability for the start of next season is far from guaranteed, and Hill may well have played his last snap as a Dolphin. He remains under contract for 2026 at a base salary of $29.9 million, but none of that money is currently guaranteed, and Miami could cut him at no cost up until the third day of the new league year in March.

  • Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Season-ending surgery confirmed

Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel confirmed that Hill (knee) underwent season-ending surgery Tuesday, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports. McDaniel relayed that Hill's surgery addressed a dislocation of the receiver's left knee, as well as damage to multiple ligaments, including a torn ACL. Given the extensive damage he sustained in Monday's win over the Jets, the 31-year-old wideout could require additional follow-up procedures, which may affect his availability for next season. Hill will be entering the final season of his contract in 2026 at a non-guaranteed $29.9 million salary, though he'll be fully guaranteed $11 million plus a $5 million bonus if he remains on Miami's roster through the third day of the new league year in March. He'll finish the 2025 campaign with a 21-265-1 receiving line on 29 targets over four games.

  • Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Set for season-ending knee surgery

Hill was diagnosed with multiple ligament tears, including one to his ACL, after dislocating his left knee during Monday's 27-21 win over the Jets, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Hill is slated to undergo surgery Tuesday, and based on the severity of his injury, the wideout is facing a lengthy recovery process that could extend into the start of the 2026 season. In the looming absence of Hill, Malik Washington and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine are candidates to see added snaps at receiver alongside new No. 1 wideout Jaylen Waddle, while running back De'Von Achane and tight end Darren Waller could also be in line for expanded pass-game roles. In addition to his surgery Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network notes that Hill could require additional procedures to address the extensive damage to his knee. The 31-year-old is under contract at a non-guaranteed salary of $29.9 million for 2026, though $11 million will become fully guaranteed if he remains on the roster by the third day of the new league year in March.

  • Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Diagnosis confirmed

Hill dislocated his left knee in the third quarter of Monday's win over the Jets, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Hill suffered the injury early in the third quarter and was carted off the field, surrounded by his teammates. He'll stay in the hospital overnight for further evaluation. Hill will be sidelined for the rest of the season, with a shift to injured reserve likely coming in the next few days.

  • Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Dislocated knee feared

Hill is believed to have dislocated his left knee during Monday's game against the Jets, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Hill has been ruled out of Monday's game with a serious leg injury that he suffered early in the third quarter. He went to a local hospital to undergo imaging, at which time the diagnosis of his injury should become official.

  • Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Officially ruled out

Hill has been ruled out for the rest of Monday's game against the Jets due to a knee injury. This comes as no surprise after Hill was carted off the field early in the third quarter with what appeared to be a very serious leg injury. He is being taken to a hospital for further evaluation, and an official diagnosis should follow.

  • Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Carted off with leg injury

Hill was carted off the field in the third quarter of Monday's game against the Jets with a left leg injury, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Hill made a 12-yard catch early in the third quarter and had his leg twisted on the tackle. The injury looks to be serious, and he was carted off the field surrounded by his teammates as well as many Jets players.

  • Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Clear for MNF

Hill (personal) doesn't have a designation for Monday's game versus the Jets, C. Isaiah Smalls II of the Miami Herald reports. Hill didn't attend Saturday's practice due to personal reasons, but the absence won't affect his ability to play on game day. Through three contests in 2025, he's hauled in 15 of 23 targets for 198 yards and one touchdown, and he'll facing a Jets defense Monday that has allowed the ninth-most receiving yards (489) to opposing wide receivers this season.

  • Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Missing Saturday's practice

Hill is not participating in Saturday's practice due to personal reasons, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Although he's missing Saturday's practice, Furones relays that Hill is still expected to play in Monday night's AFC East tilt against the Jets. Hill has opened the 2025 regular season with 15 catches (on 23 targets) for 198 yards and one touchdown across three games, and he's also contributed on special teams with a 19-yard punt return.

  • Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Records TD despite modest yardage

Hill secured five of 10 targets for 49 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' 31-21 loss to the Bills on Thursday night. Hill led the Dolphins in targets and receiving yards on the night, adding his first touchdown catch of the season on a five-yard grab early in the fourth quarter. The mercurial speedster has logged 23 targets through three games and parlayed them into a 15-198-1 line, but Tua Tagovailoa's overall struggles and the general malaise that's seemingly befallen the Dolphins keeps Hill's fantasy outlook somewhat murky heading into a Week 4 home matchup against the Jets on Monday night, Sept. 29, a game where he's likely to see plenty of Sauce Gardner's coverage.

  • Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Crosses 100-yard mark in loss

Hill brought in six of seven targets for 109 yards and returned one punt for 19 yards in the Dolphins' 33-27 loss to the Patriots on Sunday. Hill set the pace for the Dolphins in receiving yards while checking in second in receptions and targets. Hill's day could have been even bigger had Tua Tagovailoa not missed him when he was wide open on a second-half pass, but the fact the talented wideout put together his first 100-yard effort of the campaign was certainly a bright spot during a loss that dropped the Dolphins to 0-2. With Miami desperate for a win, Hill figures to be prominently featured again in a Thursday night Week 3 road matchup against the Bills that is arguably already a critical game for the Dolphins.

  • Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Not on Week 2 injury report

Hill, who was limited at practice last Wednesday and Thursday, is not listed on the Dolphins' Week 2 injury report, Travis Wingfield of the team's official site reports. Hill managed oblique and calf issues leading up to Week 1 action, but he didn't carry an injury designation ahead of Miami's 33-8 loss to the Colts on Sunday and is now off the injury report altogether. Per Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, on the subject of recent domestic violence allegations pertaining to Hill -- that are being reviewed by the league, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network -- coach Mike McDaniel noted Wednesday, "we've been in communication with the NFL and will let the process play out." In Miami's regular-season opener, Hill was on the field for 62 percent of the team's snaps on offense and caught four of his six targets for 40 yards.

  • Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Subdued performance in Week 1 loss

Hill brought in four of six targets for 40 yards in the Dolphins' 33-8 loss to the Colts on Sunday. Hill finished as the co-leader in receptions and set the pace in receiving yards, but on a day when Tua Tagovailoa threw for only 114 yards, tossed two interceptions and took three sacks, those team-leading numbers weren't exactly noteworthy. The veteran speedster entered Week 1 with at least some mild questions surrounding his fantasy outlook; however, Hill appeared to maximize his opportunities in a negative game environment Sunday, and he could be in line for a boost in production in a Week 2 home matchup against a Patriots defense that gave up 362 passing yards to the Raiders' Geno Smith in Week 1.

  • Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: On track for Sunday

Coach Mike McDaniel noted Friday that Hill (oblique) is "absolutely" on track to play Sunday against the Colts, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports. The same applies to RB De'Von Achane (calf), with both players having been limited at practice Wednesday and Thursday. Friday's final injury report will reveal whether Hill heads into the weekend with an injury designation or fully cleared for Week 1 action.

  • Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Limited again Thursday

Hill (oblique) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel has stated that he expects Hill to suit up Week 1, but the veteran wideout will only have one more chance to upgrade to full participation ahead of Sunday's road matchup against the Colts. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa said Wednesday he and Hill are "good" entering Week 1, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN, downplaying offseason concerns about their relationship by saying "people might've blown it out of proportion." If there was once any tension between the two after Hill pulled himself out of the 2024 regular-season finale early, Tagovailoa said "we've worked on it, and I think that conversation is dead now."

  • Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Increasing practice workload

Hill (oblique) has been ramping up his practice workload and will be a limited participant Wednesday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports. Hill returned to practice last Thursday after missing a little more than three weeks, with coach Mike McDaniel saying at the time that he expected the wideout to play Week 1. It sounds like Hill is still on track to face the Colts this Sunday, but he may need an upgrade to full participation Thursday or Friday in order to get the go-ahead. McDaniel also mentioned that Hill would get some work in team drills Wednesday, and per David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa dismissed concerns about his and the star wideout's relationship declining this offseason.

  • Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Practicing again Monday

Hill (oblique) is participating in Monday's practice, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports. Hill continues to ramp up his activity level ahead of Sunday's regular-season opener on the road against Indianapolis. The 31-year-old wideout missed roughly three weeks of practice before retaking the field Aug. 28, but the Dolphins never indicated serious concern about his status for Week 1. Barring any setbacks, it appears he'll be available Sunday versus the Colts.

  • Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Remains on track for Week 1

Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said Thursday that Hill (oblique), who remained sidelined at practice Wednesday, is on track to suit up Week 1 on the road against Indianapolis, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports. Hill has scarcely taken the practice field since early August due to a lingering oblique injury, but Miami expects that he and fellow key starter De'Von Achane (calf) will be available for the regular-season opener. New tight end Darren Waller, who spent most of the preseason working on his conditioning, took part in team drills Wednesday, so quarterback Tua Tagovailoa seems on track to have his full assortment of pass-catchers available Week 1. That said, it may not be until next week's official practice reports are released that fantasy managers are provided clearer insight on whether or not Hill could be limited in any capacity to kick off the 2025 campaign.

  • Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Absent from practice Wednesday

Hill (oblique) is not participating in Wednesday's practice, Omar Kelly of the Miami Herald reports. Hill remains sidelined due to the lingering oblique injury that's limited him to only a handful of appearances at practice since early August. The Dolphins haven't yet expressed any signs of concern about Hill's availability for Week 1, so the team could simply be taking a cautious approach to his health in order to avoid any setbacks. It will be significant, however, for Hill to get back on the field over the next week and begin ramping up for the regular-season opener against Indianapolis on Sunday, Sept. 7.
