Kenny Anunike: Waived by Jets
Anunike was waived by the Jets on Thursday.
Anunike will subsequently leave New York after only signing a reserve/future contract with the team back in January. Releasing the defensive end on the same day as the NFL Draft suggests that the Jets may be eyeing a defensive lineman with one or multiple of their picks. Anunike will look to join a different NFL roster before training camp begins this summer.

Jets' Kenny Anunike: Signs future contract
Anunike signed a reserve/future contract with the Jets.
Anunike played three games for the Broncos in 2015 but was then waived by the team this past August. He spent the majority of the last offseason on the Physically Unable to Perform list due to a knee injury but now looks to solidify himself as a reserve defensive lineman in New York.

Broncos' Kenny Anunike: Will begin camp on PUP list
Anunike (knee) is slated to begin training camp on the Broncos' active/PUP list, the Denver Post reports.
Anunike was active for just three games in 2015 before landing on IR with a nagging knee injury he originally had surgery for in August of 2015. Last month he said he expected to be ready for training camp, so his placement on the PUP list either means he suffered a setback in his recovery, or Denver is simply exercising caution with their up-and-coming defensive end. When cleared to play, Anunike will compete with Darius Kilgo, Jared Crick, Phil Walker and Vance Walker for depth positions along the defensive line.
