  • Anthony Miller: Back with Ravens on practice squad

Baltimore signed Miller to its practice squad Thursday, Ryan Mink of the team's official site reports. Miller didn't make the Ravens' initial 53-man roster, but he'll stick with Baltimore as valuable organizational depth. The veteran wideout got into two regular-season games with the team last year, catching his only target for a 16-yard completion. Miller also stepped in for both of the Ravens' playoff games after Zay Flowers got hurt and caught all four of his targets for 28 yards across those two contests.

  • Anthony Miller: Cut loose by Ravens

The Ravens released Miller on Tuesday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. A 2018 second-round pick, Miller has mostly bounced around on practice squads over the previous four seasons, playing just five regular-season games and reeling in seven passes for 41 yards and a touchdown. However, he played two postseason games for the Ravens last season and caught all four targets for 28 yards on 17 offensive snaps. Miller has a good chance to stick around on the practice squad while he awaits his next opportunity.

  • Ravens' Anthony Miller: Remaining in Baltimore

The Ravens signed Miller to a reserve/future contract Wednesday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. Miller spent the entire 2024 campaign on the Ravens' practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster at the conclusion of training camp. It wasn't until Week 16 against the Steelers when Miller was elevated to the Ravens' active roster, and he ended up playing in four of Baltimore's last five games (including its two playoff games). He caught all five of his targets for 45 yards across those four outings and provided crucial depth at wide receiver due to injuries to Nelson Agholor and Zay Flowers (knee). By signing a futures contract, Miller will be on the Ravens' 90-man roster for OTAs, minicamp and training camp, and will work to earn a spot on the active roster for 2025 campaign.

  • Anthony Miller: Reverts to practice squad

Miller reverted to the Ravens' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log. With Zay Flowers (knee) sidelined Sunday, the Memphis product was elevated to Baltimore's active roster to ensure depth at wideout in the divisional-round loss to the Bills. Miller performed well when called upon, catching his only target for 16 yards while playing just eight offensive snaps. He may have earned himself a spot on an NFL roster in 2025, as he proved to be a reliable pass-catching option by hauling in all four of his targets for 28 yards across just 17 offensive snaps in two playoff games with the Ravens.

  • Ravens' Anthony Miller: Gets another elevation

Miller was elevated from the Ravens' practice squad to their active roster Saturday. Miller was also elevated for last Saturday's wild-card win over Pittsburgh, and he caught all three of his targets for 12 yards over nine offensive snaps. He could see a similar workload Sunday versus Buffalo in the AFC divisional round, as the Ravens are likely to look for production from a variety of receivers due to top wideout Zay Flowers being doubtful to suit up due to a knee injury. In addition to the wild-card round, Miller played in two games during the regular season and caught his lone target for 16 yards.

  • Ravens' Anthony Miller: Summoned for wild-card contest

Miller was elevated from the Ravens' practice squad to their active roster Saturday. Miller was elevated for each of Baltimore's final three regular-season games, though he didn't end up playing any snaps last Saturday versus Cleveland. The veteran wideout totaled nine offensive snaps overall this season, catching his lone target for 16 yards. Miller will help bolster Baltimore's receiving corps in Saturday's wild-card matchup versus the Steelers due to No. 1 wideout Zay Flowers being sidelined due to a knee injury.

Miller reverted to the Ravens' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log. Miller was elevated to the Raven's active roster for the regular-season finale against the Browns on Saturday but was inactive for the contest. • Ravens' Anthony Miller: Joins active roster

Miller was elevated to the Ravens' active roster Friday. The Memphis product's elevation ensures depth at wide receiver, with the Ravens waiving Diontae Johnson on Friday and with Nelson Agholor (concussion) already ruled out for Saturday's matchup against the Steelers. Expect Miller to serve as a depth piece in Baltimore's WR room in Week 16, playing behind Zay Flowers, Tylan Wallace, Devontez Walker and possibly Rashod Bateman (foot, questionable).

  • Anthony Miller: Let go by 49ers

The 49ers released Miller on Tuesday, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports. Miller spent the offseason and a lot of training camp with the Steelers before getting waived in mid-August. He subsequently found his way to San Francisco after clearing waivers and was competing for a depth receiving role with the club. The 28-year-old was unable to do enough to climb up the ladder and is now set to look for a new opportunity if he does not get a practice squad offer.

The 49ers signed Miller to a contract Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Miller will get a chance to compete for an end-of-roster role in San Francisco, though Friday's exhibition matchup against the Chargers will be his last and only chance to log any preseason action. The 2018 second-round pick hasn't appear in a regular-season game since 2021, when he logged two appearances with the Texans and one with the Steelers.

  • Steelers' Anthony Miller: Returns to practice

Miller (shoulder) was spotted returning punts during Tuesday's practice, Noah Strackbein of SI.com reports. Miller, who missed the entire 2022 season with a shoulder injury suffered in training camp, appears to be healthy again. During the upcoming campaign, Miller is slated to compete with a depth role at receiver, and his ability to contribute as a return man could be essential if he's to make the roster as a fifth or sixth option in the position group.

  • Steelers' Anthony Miller: Remaining with the Steelers

The Steelers signed Miller (shoulder) to a one-year contract Tuesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports. Miller spent the entire 2022-23 campaign on Pittsburgh's injured reserve due to the shoulder injury he sustained during training camp. Once he's able to prove optimal health, the 28-year-old wide receiver will compete for a pass-catching role out of the slot next year alongside Diontae Johnson and George Pickens.

  • Steelers' Anthony Miller: Lands on IR

The Steelers placed Miller (shoulder) on injured reserve Tuesday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports. As expected, Miller lands on injured reserve after news that he'd miss the remainder of the 2022 season with a shoulder injury. The 2018 second-round pick didn't suit up for Saturday's preseason contest against Seattle, but it's unclear when he sustained the injury.

  • Steelers' Anthony Miller: Done for season

Miller (shoulder) has been ruled out for the remainder of the 2022 season, Dale Lolley of DKPittsburghSports.com reports. Miller didn't suit up for Saturday's preseason contest against Seattle due to the issue, but it's unclear when he suffered the injury. The 2018 second-round pick had been making a strong case for a spot on the Steelers' initial 53-man roster, so it's a tough blow to Pittsburgh and Miller, who'll likely be placed on season-ending IR in the near future.

  • Steelers' Anthony Miller: Sits out with shoulder injury

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin confirmed postgame that Miller was sidelined with a right shoulder injury during Saturday's preseason game against Seattle, Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. Miller also dealt with a right shoulder injury during the Texans' training camp last year, though it's unclear if he aggravated this pre-existing issue this preseason. The 27-year-old wideout's health could affect his ultimate chances of making Pittsburgh's final 53-man roster before the team's Week 1 opener Sept. 11. When healthy, Miller likely will compete with Cody White, Gunner Olszewski and Christian Blake for one of the team's last spots at wideout this preseason.
