Sefo Liufau: Reaches injury settlement
Liufau (knee) reached an injury settlement with the Buccaneers on Friday, per the official NFL transaction log.
Liufau is now free to sign elsewhere should he be healthy enough to play. The 22-year-old completed 20 of 33 pass attempts for 201 yards with one touchdown and one interception in two preseason games with Tampa Bay.

Buccaneers' Sefo Liufau: Reverts to injured reserve
After being waived/injured Saturday, Liufau (knee) reverted to the Buccaneers' injured reserve Sunday per the official NFL transaction log.
As expected, Liufau cleared waivers and landed on the team's IR. He was never a serious candidate to land on the final roster. The quarterback will now spend the entire 2017 season on injured reserve unless both parties can come to terms on an injury settlement.

Sefo Liufau: Waived/injured by Tampa Bay
Liufau (knee) was waived/injured by the Buccaneers on Saturday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
The decision hardly comes as a surprise considering who was ahead of him. It's unlikely the team was going to take more than three quarterbacks into the the regular season, and with Jameis Winston and Ryan Fitzpatrick cementing roster spots, it came down to a battle with veteran Ryan Griffin, which Griffin won. For now, it looks like Liufau's fantasy value is close to the floor.

Buccaneers' Sefo Liufau: Expected to be waived to IR
Liufau (knee), who completed 16 of 28 passes for 170 yards with one touchdown and one interception in Thursday's preseason contest against the Redskins before suffering an injury, is expected to be waived by the Bucs and subsequently revert to injured reserve, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
Liufau also rushed three times for nine yards in what was by far his most extensive action of the preseason. As per Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times, Liufau's injury is considered relatively minor, so he will revert to non-season-ending injured reserve. Factoring in Liufau's status and Ryan Griffin's shoulder injury, the Bucs appear likely to head into Week 1 with veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick as the only other healthy quarterback on the roster outside of Jameis Winston.
