Seumalo (undisclosed) returned to practice Thursday. The starting guard was placed on the active/non-football injury list a week ago to open camp. Now that he's back, the veteran should return to his spot atop the depth chart at left guard. Seumalo has started all 32 regular-season games he's played in since signing a three year, $24-million contract with the Steelers in 2023.

Seumalo (pectoral) has a chance to play Sunday against the Cowboys, Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. His return would certainly be a boost to the offensive line after they lost starting right guard, James Daniels to a torn Achilles in Week 4. Seumalo's status for Week 5 should become clearer after the team releases its first injury report this week.
