  • Raiders' Andrus Peat: Past ankle issue

Peat (ankle) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports. Peat sustained an ankle injury in the Raiders' Week 9 loss to the Bengals, however, it appears Las Vegas' Week 10 bye was enough time for the veteran offensive lineman to move past the issue. Now that Peat has returned to full health, he's expected to serve as one of the Raiders' top backup tackles.

  • Raiders' Andrus Peat: Injures ankle Sunday

Peat exited Sunday's game against the Bengals with an ankle injury and is questionable to return, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports. Peat was in the game at left tackle in place of an injured Kolton Miller, who left earlier in the contest with an ankle injury of his own. The Raiders are down to Thayer Munford and Delmar Glaze as their remaining tackles.

  • Raiders' Andrus Peat: Signs with Las Vegas

Peat signed with the Raiders on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. The offensive guard and three-time Pro Bowler spent his first nine seasons in New Orleans. Peat has started 102 of his 111 career games, but he is listed as the Raiders' backup left guard behind Dylan Parham.

  • Saints' Andrus Peat: Ready to roll Sunday

Peat (groin) is active for Sunday's matchup against the Texans. Peat will return to action versus Houston after missing the Saints' Week 5 blowout win over New England. He'll presumably resume his starting gig at left guard, sending James Hurst back to a reserve role.

  • Saints' Andrus Peat: Returns to practice

Peat participated in 11-on-11 drills Tuesday after missing time with a quadriceps injury, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports. Peat has been out of action since July 31 when he suffered a quadriceps injury during practice. He started 11 games at left guard last season and should reclaim that role now that he has returned.

  • Saints' Andrus Peat: Injured during practice

Peat suffered a quadriceps injury during practice Monday, Luke Johnson of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. Peat did have to leave practice early, although the severity of the injury is still not known. The former Pro Bowler is expected to remain the team's starter at left guard, so any extended absence would certainly be a blow to the team's offensive line.

  • Saints' Andrus Peat: Back working with starters

Peat (ankle) was spotted working with the starting offensive line at the Saints' minicamp practice Tuesday, Sean Fazende of Fox 8 New Orleans reports. Peat missed the final two games of the 2022 NFL season with an ankle injury suffered Week 16, but he has since moved past the issue. The three-time Pro Bowler has started 90 games over the past eight years and should provide a major boost to the Saints' ground game in 2023 if he's able to enjoy improved health compared to a year ago.
