Texans' Hardy Nickerson: Placed on IR
Nickerson (concussion) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Nickerson had already been ruled out for Sunday's game against Tennessee, but he'll now be forced to miss at least three contests. However, the linebacker's absence shouldn't impact Houston's defensive plans.

Texans' Hardy Nickerson: Not playing against Titans
Nickerson (concussion) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against Tennessee.
This means Nickerson will have to wait to make his third appearance of the season after seeing the field previously in Week 4 and Week 8. He's played only nine defensive snaps this season, though, so his absence shouldn't have a major impact on Houston's game plan this weekend.

Nickerson (concussion) will not play Sunday against the Dolphins.
Nickerson was just bumped up from the practice squad Thursday, but he won't be cleared in time to play Sunday. Nickerson spent time on the active roster earlier this season, appearing in the Texans' Week 4 and Week 8 games against the Bills and Rams, respectively.

Vikings' Hardy Nickerson: Signs to active roster
The Vikings signed Nickerson to the active roster Saturday.
The Vikings cut Nickerson on Dec. 1 after he played nine games for the team. In that stretch, Nickerson rarely played on defense and finished with just six tackles. He's back with the Vikings, however, and he'll add depth at middle linebacker with Eric Kendricks (calf) ruled out for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.

Vikings' Hardy Nickerson: Works as No. 3 LB
Nickerson had one total tackle and played 36 of the defense's 75 snaps in Sunday's loss to Tennessee.
Nickerson moved into a role as the No. 3 linebacker after Anthony Barr suffered a season-ending pectoral injury. However, his increase in playing time may not last long, as Todd Davis may overtake him on the depth chart once he gets up to speed after signing with the Vikings just before Week 3.

Vikings' Hardy Nickerson: Signs with Vikings
Nickerson signed with the Vikings' active roster Tuesday.
Anthony Barr suffered a torn pectoral muscle this past Sunday and has been ruled out for the year, so Nickerson could play an immediate role for the Vikings. However, Troy Dye and Ryan Connelly are in line for the starting gig that Barr left behind.
