Texans' Marcus Roberson: Claimed by Houston
Roberson was claimed off waivers by the Texans, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Roberson was snapped up the Texans one day after he was released by Buffalo. With the free-agent losses of A.J. Bouye (Jaguars) and Quintin Demps (Bears), the Texans have added a body to compete for playing time in the secondary. Houston created room on its 90-man offseason roster by placing tackle Derek Newton on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list.

Marcus Roberson: Cut by Bills
Roberson was released by Buffalo on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of The National Football Post reports.
Roberson was promoted to Bills' active roster midway through the season in 2016, but in seven games he recorded just two tackles. He'll look to catch on as a depth defender and special teams player with another team in 2017.
