Vainuku was released Monday by the Falcons.
Vainuku was let go in order to make room for undrafted rookie linebacker Jack Lynn. The USC product had been one of three fullbacks on the Falcons roster, so his release likely leaves Derrick Coleman and Taniela Tupou to compete for one roster spot during training camp.
