Williams' (back) practice window has expired, so he will remain on the reserve/PUP list for the remainder of the season.
The Packers decided that Williams was not ready to go, so the rookie seventh-rounder will have to wait until the 2026 season for his potential NFL debut. The Packers' offensive guard group heading into the Sunday wild-card matchup with the Bears will consist of Anthony Belton, Aaron Banks, Lecitus Smith, Jordan Morgan and Darian Kinnard.

Williams continues to work his way back from a back injury that caused him to start the regular season on the reserve/PUP list. The rookie seventh-rounder will aim to progress enough in his recovery to be available for the wild-card round of the NFC playoffs.

Williams returned to practice Wednesday after missing the entirety of the regular season to this point while nursing a back injury. The offensive lineman was able to log back-to-back limited sessions, but he'll now shift his focus to a potential return to action in Week 17.

Williams has been sidelined since training camp while nursing a back injury, spending the entirety of the season to this point on the reserve/PUP list. The offensive lineman will have to be added to the active roster in the next 21 days, or he'll remain sidelined for the rest of the year.

The Packers placed Williams (back) on the reserve/PUP list Tuesday, Wes Hodklewickz of the team's official site reports.
The rookie seventh-rounder has been held out of training camp due to a back injury, which is severe enough for him to start the 2025 regular season on the PUP list. Williams will be required to miss at least the first four games of the season, which makes the Packers' Week 6 contest against the Bengals on Sunday, Oct. 12 the earliest he can make his NFL regular-season debut.

Williams did not participate in Thursday's training camp practice due to a back injury, Bill Huber of SI.com reports.
The rookie seventh-rounder opened training camp on the Packers' PUP list and he has been unable to participate in practices while working through a back injury. Williams is unlikely to play against the Jets in Saturday's preseason opener, but if he is cleared to return to practice next week, he could be available for Green Bay's second preseason contest against Indianapolis on Aug. 16.
