Raiders' Ahtyba Rubin: Planted on IR
Rubin (biceps) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, Michael Gehlken of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
Rubin sustained a season-ending biceps tear during last week's joint practices with the Lions. To replace him on the roster, Oakland claimed fellow defensive lineman Gabe Wright off waivers.

Raiders' Ahtyba Rubin: Heads to west coast
Rubin signed with the Raiders on Tuesday.
Rubin played two games with Denver in 2017 before being released and completing the final 10 games with Atlanta. He played in a depth role and made 15 tackles. Rubin will be 32 years old when the season begins, and an already strong defensive front will likely keep him from making much of an impact.

Falcons' Ahtyba Rubin: Reaches deal with Atlanta
The Falcons signed Rubin to a contract Thursday, Kelsey Conway of the Falcons' official site reports.
The Falcons waived Taniela Tupou from the 53-man roster to make room for Rubin, who will presumably take over Tupou's role as the top backup to defensive tackle Dontari Poe. The 31-year-old Rubin was once a high-end IDP asset along the defensive line with a pair of 80-tackle campaigns on his resume, but he's seen his effectiveness wane in recent years. Rubin's decline has resulted in him bouncing around the league a bit, as the Falcons are the third team he'll suit up for since 2016.

Ahtyba Rubin: Heads to free agency
Rubin was released by the Broncos on Tuesday, Mike Klis of 9 News Denver reports.
Rubin was only active for two games in Denver this season, and he played a total of 17 snaps. He has been a steady contributor in the past, so the 31-year-old may still have a future in the league.

Broncos' Ahtyba Rubin: Not expected to play
Rubin is not expected to play Sunday against Dallas since he just signed Friday, Mike Klis of 9 News Denver reports.
Rubin is expected to help add depth to the battered defensive front in Denver. It is unclear how much the Broncos will use Rubin when he is active, but it's unlikely he'll be summoned enough to be an IDP threat.

Broncos' Ahtyba Rubin: Signs with Broncos
Rubin signed with the Broncos on Friday, Mike Klis of 9 News Denver reports.
Rubin was most recently let go by the Seahawks prior to the start of the regular season and shortly following the acquisition of Sheldon Richardson. With Broncos defensive end Jared Crick potentially headed for injured reserve with a back injury, Rubin will help shore up some of their depth on the defensive line.

Ahtyba Rubin: Released by Seahawks
Rubin was released by the Seahawks on Saturday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
After failing to trade him following the acquisition of Sheldon Richardson, Rubin has been released. The move may free up time for the likes of Rodney Coe and/or Tylor Harris at left defensive tackle.
