Hukporti will come off the bench for Saturday's Game 1 against the Hawks, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports.
Karl-Anthony Towns (elbow) and Mitchell Robinson (ankle) skipped the Knicks' regular-season finale, but both those guys will be back in action Saturday, which could make it tough for Hukporti to get into the rotation. As a reserve this season, Hukporti has averaged 1.9 points and 2.5 rebounds in 7.8 minutes per game.

Hukporti will start Sunday's game against the Hornets.
Karl-Anthony Towns (elbow) and Mitchell Robinson (ankle) will sit out New York's regular-season finale, opening the door for Hukporti to step into the starting five for the first time since Jan. 2. Hukporti didn't play in New York's' previous two contests heading into Friday night. While the 23-year-old narrowly missed his first double-digit scoring effort since the 132-101 win over the Wizards, it was still an above-average showing. With the Knicks locked into the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference, Hukporti might see extended action in Sunday's meeting with the Hornets. Hukporti served as the primary backup behind Karl-Anthony Towns, replacing Mitchell Robinson, who was ruled out as part of his injury management. Hukporti wasn't prolific, but he shot the ball well and racked up five boards along with a swat in just 21 minutes. However, there is no reason to chase him in fantasy outside of very deep formats.
