  • Bulls' Guerschon Yabusele: Won't return this season

Head coach Billy Donovan said Friday that Yabusele (shoulder/elbow) will not play in Chicago's final two regular-season games, K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports Network reports. Yabusele sustained a left shoulder sprain and a left elbow sprain in Thursday's win over the Wizards and will not return this season. The big man will finish the 2025-26 campaign with averages of 5.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 15.0 minutes per game across 67 regular-season appearances (19 starts) between Chicago and New York.

  • Bulls' Guerschon Yabusele: Sitting out Friday

Yabusele has been ruled outfor Friday's game against the Magic due to a sprained left shoulder and sprained left elbow. Yabusele exited Thursday's 119-108 win over the Wizards due to the shoulder issue, and he apparently banged up his elbow at some point along the way. He'll be held out of the second leg of a back-to-back, and it wouldn't be surprising if Yabusele remained sidelined for Sunday's season finale versus the Mavericks. In Yabusele's absence Friday, Leonard Miller and Lachlan Olbrich are candidates to see increased run out of the frontcourt.

  • Bulls' Guerschon Yabusele: Exits early Thursday

Yabusele won't return to Thursday's game against the Wizards due to a left shoulder sprain, K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports Network reports. He'll finish with five points (2-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt), five rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in 16 minutes. Yabusele sustained the shoulder injury early in the third quarter and was ruled out for the remainder of the contest shortly after exiting to the locker room. The big man faces a short turnaround if he hopes to suit up in Friday's game against Orlando.

  • Bulls' Guerschon Yabusele: Exits to locker room

Yabusele exited to the locker room in the third quarter of Thursday's game against the Wizards due to an apparent left shoulder injury, Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Yabusele appeared to bump into another player and grabbed his left shoulder before heading to the locker room. He should be considered questionable to return until more information comes to light.

  • Bulls' Guerschon Yabusele: Available to play Friday

Yabusele (ankle) will play in Friday's game against the Knicks. Yabusele is set to play in his third consecutive contest. With Nick Richards (elbow) still on the shelf, Yabusele will presumably remain in the starting lineup. The 30-year-old has averaged 10.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.5 blocks and 0.8 steals across 25.9 minutes in 15 starts throughout the 2025-26 campaign.

  • Bulls' Guerschon Yabusele: Likely to play Friday

Yabusele (ankle) is probable for Friday's game against the Knicks. The Bulls continue to monitor Yabusele's nagging left ankle sprain. The big man has averaged 12.4 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 0.8 steals in 25.9 minutes per tilt across his last five games.

  • Bulls' Guerschon Yabusele: Iffy for Wednesday

Yabusele is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pacers due to a sprained left ankle. Yabusele continues to be bothered by the injury and could go through pregame warmups Wednesday before Chicago updates his playing status. Nick Richards (elbow) is also questionable, so the depleted Bulls frontcourt could be down to Leonard Miller and Lachlan Olbrich as the last men standing at the center position.

  • Bulls' Guerschon Yabusele: Questionable for Monday

Yabusele (ankle) is questionable for Monday's game in San Antonio. Yabusele is in danger of missing his second straight game, but we'll have a better idea on his status based on his activity level at shootaround. If he's not able to give it a go, Lachlan Olbrich could see heavy minutes as the last center standing in Chicago.

  • Bulls' Guerschon Yabusele: Available Friday

Yabusele (ankle) is available for Friday's game against the Thunder. With Yabusele available and Nick Richards (elbow) out, the former appears primed to draw the start at center for the Bulls on Friday. Yabusele has averaged 10.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 25.9 minutes per contest across 12 games as a starter for Chicago.

  • Bulls' Guerschon Yabusele: Chips in 11 points off bench

Yabusele posted 11 points (3-8 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT) and four rebounds over 22 minutes during the Bulls' 157-137 loss to the 76ers on Wednesday. Yabusele was one of nine Bulls players to score in double digits, but the team was ineffective defensively in a blowout loss. The veteran big man could be in line for an expanded role in the coming days depending on the statuses of Jalen Smith (calf) and Nick Richards (elbow), both of whom left Wednesday's game due to injury. Yabusele started in 12 of 13 games from early February to mid-March, scoring in double digits in eight of those contests while recording two double-doubles and a near triple-double against the Pistons on Feb. 21.

  • Bulls' Guerschon Yabusele: Questionable for Wednesday

Yabusele (ankle) is now questionable for Wednesday's game against the 76ers. Similar to Isaac Okoro (knee), Yabusele has been upgraded from doubtful to questionable. If he's unable to play, the Bulls may need to lean heavily on Nick Richards.

  • Bulls' Guerschon Yabusele: Unlikely to play Wednesday

Yabusele (ankle) is out for Wednesday's game against the 76ers. A left ankle sprain is likely to result in a second consecutive absence for Yabusele. Nick Richards figures to continue to start in the frontcourt alongside Jalen Smith on Wednesday.

  • Bulls' Guerschon Yabusele: Won't play Monday

Yabusele (ankle) is out for Monday's game against the Rockets. No surprise here, as Yabusele was previously listed as doubtful. Jalen Smith (calf) remains questionable, which means Nick Richards may be relied on heavily.

  • Bulls' Guerschon Yabusele: Doubtful for Monday

Yabusele is doubtful for Monday's game versus the Rockets due to a left ankle sprain. Yabusele must have tweaked his ankle during Thursday's loss to the Cavs, and now he's in danger of missing Monday's game. Jalen Smith (calf) is also questionable for Monday's game, and if he's forced to join Yabusele on the sidelines, Nick Richards would get a chance to start.

  • Bulls' Guerschon Yabusele: Will play Friday

Yabusele (foot) will play Friday versus the Clippers, K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports Network reports. Yabusele is back after a one-game absence, and he could get the starting nod Friday evening due to Jalen Smith (calf) being unavailable. Yabusele is averaging 10.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 2.1 triples per game with the Bulls this season.

  • Bulls' Guerschon Yabusele: Downgraded to doubtful

Yabusele (foot) is doubtful for Thursday's game against the Lakers. Yabusele was previously labeled as questionable for this contest. With this news, guys like Nick Richards, Leonard Miller and Lachlan Olbrich could be more involved for the Bulls.

  • Bulls' Guerschon Yabusele: Questionable for Thursday

Yabusele is questionable for Thursday's game against the Lakers due to left foot soreness. If Yabusele can't play Thursday, Nick Richards would have a chance to start, and there would be more minutes available for Lachlan Olbrich and Leonard Miller. Check back for another update on Yabusele closer to Thursday's tip.

  • Bulls' Guerschon Yabusele: Starting Saturday

Yabusele will start Saturday's game against the Pistons. The big man will get the starting nod in place of Anfernee Simons on Saturday. As a starter for the Bulls (three outings), Yabusele has averaged 9.3 points and 2.0 rebounds in 24.3 minutes per tilt.

  • Bulls' Guerschon Yabusele: Nursing minor calf injury

Yabusele is listed as probable for Saturday's game against the Pistons due to a left calf contusion. Yabusele may have tweaked his calf during the Bulls' 110-101 loss to the Raptors on Thursday, when he logged eight points (2-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds and one assist over 17 minutes, though the veteran big man is on track to play in Saturday's contest. Since being acquired by the Bulls from the Knicks in early February, Yabusele is averaging 10.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 2.2 threes and 0.8 steals over 24.8 minutes per game.

  • Bulls' Guerschon Yabusele: Impressive stretch continues

Yabusele logged 13 points (5-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds and two assists in 25 minutes during Wednesday's 124-105 loss to the Celtics. Although Yabusele has impressed during his brief time in Chicago following the departure of Nikola Vucevic, it'll be interesting to see what kind of role he plays once Jalen Smith (calf) gets back on the court. Yabusele has averaged 10.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.5 three-pointers in 26.8 minutes per contest in his last four games, connecting on 41.7 percent of his three-point shots.
