  • Heat's Andrew Wiggins: Won't play Sunday

Wiggins (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the 76ers, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports. Wiggins is considered day-to-day but will miss a second straight game due to hip soreness that cropped up at the end of Wednesday's win over the Warriors. His next chance to suit up will come against Dallas in Miami on Monday. With Nikola Jovic (hip) also sidelined, Miami has been starting Bam Adebayo and Kel'el Ware in the frontcourt together.

  • Heat's Andrew Wiggins: Considered day-to-day

Miami coach Erik Spoelstra said Friday that Wiggins (hip) is going to be day-to-day going forward, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports. "It just got really tight the latter part of the fourth quarter. He's day-to-day. He also wasn't feeling well that whole game," Spoelstra said in regards to Wiggins' 17-point effort against the Warriors. "So that might have had an effect a little bit. But overall, we're encouraged by the prognosis on it." Wiggins has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Bulls, but a return against the 76ers on Sunday appears to be on the table. However, he didn't travel with the team to Chicago.

  • Heat's Andrew Wiggins: Out with hip issue

Wiggins will not play Friday against the Bulls with a left hip injury. Wiggins logged 17 points (7-16 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals over 34 minutes during Wednesday's 110-96 victory over the Warriors, but he walked out of it with a hip injury. The forward will not travel with the team to Chicago, so it will be interesting to see if he's able to rejoin the squad ahead of Sunday's road game in Philadelphia. With Nikola Jovic (hip) also out, the Heat could rely heavily on Jaime Jaquez, Pelle Larsson and Simone Fontecchio.

  • Heat's Andrew Wiggins: Drops 17 in win

Wiggins had 17 points (7-16 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals over 34 minutes during Wednesday's 110-96 victory over the Warriors. Wednesday wasn't really much of a revenge game for Wiggins against his former team, as he produced numbers to his standard, but his consistency on both ends of the floor has been great for Miami. Through 15 games, Wiggins averages 16.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.1 steals, 0.9 blocks and 1.8 threes.

  • Heat's Andrew Wiggins: Sniffs double-double

Wiggins provided 17 points (7-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds, six assists and two blocks across 33 minutes during Wednesday's 130-116 loss to the Cavaliers. Wiggins finished just one rebound shy of recording what would've been his first double-double of the season. However, as long as he continues to put up consistent numbers in the scoring column, he'll remain a valuable fantasy alternative across all formats. Wiggins has reached the 15-point mark in nine games in a row, averaging 19.6 points per game and shooting an impressive 53.8 percent from the floor in that span.

  • Heat's Andrew Wiggins: Nets 22 points in win over CHA

Wiggins totaled 22 points (9-16 FG, 4-6 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 36 minutes during Friday's 126-108 win over the Hornets. Wiggins couldn't miss to start this game, as he dropped in 15 points on 6-7 shooting through his first 15 minutes of floor time, and he finished as Miami's second-leading scorer. He's been solid for the Heat, posting averages of 17.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2.0 triples, 1.3 steals, 0.9 blocks and 2.0 turnovers per game.

  • Heat's Andrew Wiggins: Delivers 22 points against Nuggets

Wiggins finished Wednesday's 122-112 loss to Denver with 22 points (9-13 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals over 32 minutes. The 30-year-old forward topped 20 points for the third time in the last five games and set a season high in assists as he begins to get comfortable in the Heat offense. Over this stretch, Wiggins is averaging 19.8 points, 4.6 boards, 2.4 assists, 2.4 threes, 1.8 steals and 0.8 blocks in 33.2 minutes a contest while shooting 55.4 percent from the floor and 46.2 percent from long distance.

  • Heat's Andrew Wiggins: Logs 24 points in loss

Wiggins provided 24 points (11-18 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 0-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists and two steals over 35 minutes during Thursday's 107-101 loss to the Spurs. Norman Powell's (groin) absence has resulted in a nice boost for Wiggins, who's averaged 22.5 points over the last two games. In order for Miami to maximize its potential, Wiggins needs to replicate this kind of production once Powell returns to the starting five. Wiggins' defensive acumen is never in question, and he's exhibiting decent rebound and steal totals to begin the season.

  • Heat's Andrew Wiggins: Quiet showing in win

Wiggins posted nine points (4-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt), five rebounds, two assists and one block across 31 minutes during Sunday's 115-107 win over the Knicks. Wiggins has been off to a relatively quiet start to the campaign in Miami. Through three games, he's seeing 26.9 minutes per contest with averages of 12.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.7 steals, 1.0 blocks and 0.7 three-pointers on 48.3 percent shooting from the field and 58.3 percent from the line. With Jaime Jaquez and Nikola Jovic right behind him, Wiggins doesn't have much breathing room if he's not performing well.

  • Heat's Andrew Wiggins: Tallies 18 points in season opener

Wiggins produced 18 points (6-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-7 FT), four rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 125-121 loss to the Magic. Wiggins turned in a solid showing from the field but was unable to find his shooting touch from downtown. Opportunities were spread somewhat evenly amongst the starting five, as he was one of four starters to reach double-digit field-goal attempts. Wiggins should continue to see his fair share of chances on the offensive end with Tyler Herro (ankle) expected to remain sidelined until mid-November.

  • Heat's Andrew Wiggins: Scores 10 in preseason loss

Wiggins dropped 10 points (4-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five assists and three rebounds over 23 minutes in Friday's 141-125 preseason loss to Memphis. Wiggins hasn't performed well on the offensive end in the preseason, which is concerning because he will be asked to step up in the absence of Tyler Herro (foot). Wiggins will look to get right before the Heat play the Magic in their regular-season opener Wednesday.

  • Heat's Andrew Wiggins: Quiet in preseason loss

Wiggins ended with six points (3-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt) and one rebound in 24 minutes during Monday's preseason loss to the Hawks. Wiggins returned to the lineup after sitting out the previous game due to rest purposes. While it was good to see him out there, his production left a lot to be desired. With Tyler Herro likely to miss up to two months due to foot surgery, Wiggins will need to be a focal point, especially on the offensive end. Consistency and aggression have always been sticking points when it comes to Wiggins' style of play, something the coaching staff will be looking to change this season.

Wiggins (rest) won't play in Sunday's preseason game against the Magic, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. • Heat's Andrew Wiggins: Paces starting five in scoring

Wiggins notched 11 points (4-6 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two assists and one steal across 12 minutes in Saturday's 126-118 preseason loss to the Magic. Wiggins led the starting lineup in scoring and was one of five Heat players to reach double figures. The veteran forward is likely to take on an increased role in the offense while Tyler Herro recovers from the surgery he underwent Sept. 19 to address left foot and ankle impingements. Wiggins appeared in 60 regular-season games between the Heat and Warriors last season, during which he averaged 18.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.0 steals across 30.7 minutes per game.

  • Heat's Andrew Wiggins: Drops 12 points in Game 4 loss

Wiggins racked up 12 points (5-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt), five rebounds and one assist in 22 minutes during Monday's 138-83 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Wiggins didn't do much to help his team avoid elimination Monday, as he continued to struggle offensively. The Kansas product finished the regular season strong with back-to-back 20-point performances, but never got near that total in this first-round series with the Cavaliers, scoring a combined 46 points throughout four straight losses. The 29-year-old's season comes to an end, averaging 11.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 blocks per game, shooting 37.2 percent from the floor and 35 percent from beyond the arc in this series.

  • Heat's Andrew Wiggins: Held to 10 points

Wiggins logged 10 points (3-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), one rebound, three assists and three blocks across 28 minutes during Wednesday's 121-112 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 2 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Wiggins was having an off night for Miami, so coach Erik Spoelstra opted to roll with the hot hands of Haywood Highsmith and Nikola Jovic down the stretch. Wiggins had better luck in Game 1, finishing with 14 points (5-11 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one steal over 38 minutes.

  • Heat's Andrew Wiggins: Notches 14 points

Wiggins chipped in 14 points (5-11 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one steal over 38 minutes during Sunday's 121-100 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 1 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. After missing seven of the last nine regular-season games due to a hamstring issue, Wiggins is not expected to have any limitations during the postseason. Across 17 appearances with his new team, Wiggins produced averages of 19.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks per game.

In 17 games with Miami, the veteran forward has averaged 19.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks per game, shooting 45.8 percent from the floor and 36 percent from beyond the arc.

  • Heat's Andrew Wiggins: Sitting out regular-season finale

Wiggins (hamstring) won't play in Sunday's game versus the Wizards, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports. Wiggins will sit out Sunday's regular-season finale as the Heat will play it cautiously with his persisting hamstring issue. Jaime Jaquez, Duncan Robinson, Haywood Highsmith and Kyle Anderson are all candidates to receive increased playing time in his absence. Wiggins' next chance to suit up is Wednesday's Play-In Game against Chicago.
