Marlins' Kyle Stowers: In midst of running progression
Stowers (hamstring) is in the middle of a return-to-play running progression, Stephen Strom of Marlins Radio Network reports.
Stowers suffered a left hamstring strain just over a week ago, so it's a good sign that he's already running again to test out his injured leg. He will be eligible for activation Friday, and while it seems unlikely Stowers will be ready to go on that day, he shouldn't have any trouble being reinstated from the 10-day injured list before the end of August.

Marlins' Kyle Stowers: Heading to injured list
Miami placed Stowers on the 10-day IL with a left hamstring strain on Tuesday.
Stowers exited Sunday's series finale early against the Angels with discomfort in his left hamstring, and the injury proved serious enough to warrant a trip to the injured list. The 28-year-old will be sidelined for at least 10 days for the second time this season, after also missing the first three weeks-plus of the campaign due to a right hamstring strain. The left-handed-hitting Stowers has batted .242/.327/.462 with 16 home runs and 52 RBI in 399 plate appearances this season. Miami recalled Graham Pauley from Triple-A Jacksonville in a corresponding move.

Marlins' Kyle Stowers: Exits Sunday with hamstring issue
Stowers was removed from Sunday's game against the Angels in the fifth inning due to left hamstring discomfort, Craig Mish of Marlins.tv reports. He went 2-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and a run scored before departing.
Stowers appeared to tweak his hamstring while running out of the batter's box on an RBI single in the fifth. After reaching first base, Stowers appeared to be in pain before limping to the dugout and getting replaced by a pinch hitter. Stowers previously opened the season on the injured list due to a hamstring strain, though that injury was to his right leg. The Marlins will presumably send Stowers in for an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the injury.

He put the Marlins on the board in the fourth inning by drawing a bases-loaded walk before giving his team a 2-1 lead in the sixth with an RBI single. His four hits tied a season high that he set three times earlier in the year. Stowers has a .785 OPS with one steal, 16 home runs and 50 RBI over 391 plate appearances this season.

Marlins' Kyle Stowers: Finding power stroke
Stowers went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Thursday's loss to the Mets.
The 28-year-old took Nolan McLean deep in the fourth inning to open the scoring, Stowers' third homer in the last five games. That surge comes on the heels of a 12-game power drought, as the streaky slugger shows signs of breaking out. Seven of Stowers' 15 long balls on the season have come in July, but he's managed just a .230/.306/.506 slash line on the month in 23 contests with 10 runs and 13 RBI.

He has two homers over his last three games, and it's also worth noting Stowers has hit safely in seven of his last eight contests, batting .281 with a .924 OPS over that stretch.
