Top Jesus Made News

  • Brewers' Jesus Made: Tacks on three steals

Made went 3-for-4 with a walk, two RBI and three steals in a game with Double-A Biloxi on Thursday.

It was another stellar showing for Made, who racked up multiple hits for the sixth time in 16 games -- a span over which he's posted a 1.119 OPS -- and upped his stolen-base count on the season to 11. There is not much room for Made to advance up prospect lists, but the teenage phenom is already pushing for a promotion to Triple-A.

  • Brewers' Jesus Made: Hits first Double-A homer

Made went 4-for-5 with a home run, three runs, a walk and a stolen base in a game with Double-A Biloxi on Sunday.

Made went 1-for-10 over his first two games of the 2026 season, but it did not take him long to provide a reminder that he is one of the best prospects in baseball. He is playing full-time at Double-A, but one month shy of his 19th birthday it remains most likely he will not reach the majors until 2027.

  • Brewers' Jesus Made: Sent to minors camp

The Brewers reassigned Made to minor-league camp Monday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Made was awarded with an invitation to major-league camp after slashing .285/.379/.413 across three levels in the minors last season. The top prospect will turn just 19 in May, so he never had a real chance to make the team. Made should return to Double-A Biloxi to begin the 2026 season.

  • Brewers' Jesus Made: Putting potential on display

Made went 2-for-2 with a triple, an RBI and a run in Wednesday's spring game.

Made got his feet wet with the Brewers last spring, but he has already racked up both more at-bats and hits than he did throughout the last exhibition season. The 18-year-old is destined to start the season in the minors after just reaching the Double-A level late in 2024, but he is one of the top prospects in all of baseball, and he could be ready to make an impact at the top level in 2027.

  • Brewers' Jesus Made: Invited to spring training

The Brewers have extended Made an invitation to big-league camp during spring training, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Made will turn just 19 in May and has only five games of experience above A-ball, so he's not going to make the Opening Day roster. Nevertheless, the Brewers wanted to reward the top prospect with a camp invite after he slashed .285/.379/.413 with six home runs, 47 stolen bases and a 67:108 BB:K over 525 plate appearances across three levels in 2025. Made will likely return to Double-A Biloxi to begin the 2026 season.

  • Brewers' Jesus Made: Moving up to Double-A

The Brewers promoted Made from High-A Wisconsin to Double-A Biloxi on Sunday, Francys Romero of BeisbolFR.com reports.

Made will move up to his third different affiliate of the season after slashing .343/.415/.500 with nine extra-base hits and five stolen bases over 123 plate appearances at Wisconsin following his promotion from Single-A Carolina on Aug. 5. Just 18 years old, the switch-hitting Made looks like he could be the Brewers' long-term answer at shortstop, though he may not be ready to make his MLB debut until 2027.

  • Brewers' Jesus Made: Elevated to High-A

The Brewers will promote Made from Single-A Carolina to High-A Wisconsin during the upcoming season, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

The 18-year-old Made has established himself as one of the top prospects in baseball this season and will receive his first promotion of 2025 after slashing .267/.373/.388 with four home runs and an eye-popping 40 stolen bases over 378 plate appearances in 83 games with Carolina. He'll be joined at the High-A level by his running mate on the left side of the infield at Carolina in Luis Pena, who is also getting a promotion.
