Gilbert will start Game 6 of the ALCS against the Blue Jays on Sunday, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
As expected, Gilbert will toe the rubber in Toronto on Sunday after giving up three runs (two earned) over three innings in Monday's Game 2 start. Gilbert has a 2.45 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 11 strikeouts in 11 innings across three appearances this postseason. Trey Yesavage will be starting Game 6 for Toronto.

Gilbert didn't factor into the decision during Monday's 10-3 win in Game 2 of the American League Championship Series against the Blue Jays. He allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits and one walk while striking out two across three innings.

A three-hour rain delay didn't seem to faze Gilbert at all, as he was able to generate 16 whiffs on 85 pitches and finished his outing without dishing out a free pass. A fielder's choice allowed the Tigers to plate a run against the right-hander in the fourth inning, but an eight-run performance from the Mariners' offense ensured that Gilbert was never in serious jeopardy of leaving the ballpark Tuesday without a win.
