Crews went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Rays.
Crews singled and scored in the second inning before hitting what proved to be a crucial solo shot in the ninth. The 24-year-old has hit safely in seven of his past nine games, going deep three times with nine RBI and seven runs scored during that stretch. On the year, he's still slashing a lowly .198/.236/.366 with five homers, 15 RBI, 13 runs scored and two steals across 106 plate appearances.

Nationals' Dylan Crews: Extends hit streak with homer
Crews went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Monday's win over the Royals.
The 24-year-old outfielder took Mason Black deep in the fifth inning to wrap up the scoring in a 7-3 victory. Crews has hit safely and driven in at least one run in five straight games, and while he doesn't have a multi-hit performance during that span, he does have two of his four homers on the year. Since getting called up in mid-May, Crews is slashing .195/.239/.356 with two steals, 11 runs and 13 RBI in 23 contests.

Crews went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Friday's loss to the Mariners.
The 24-year-old outfielder got hold of a 3-0 fastball from Bryce Miller to lead off in the eighth inning and crushed it 440 feet to center field. Crews is still struggling to find his footing in the majors, slashing .189/.241/.324 through 20 games since being called up in mid-May with three homers, two steals, eight runs and eight RBI.

Nationals' Dylan Crews: On bench Tuesday
Crews is not in the lineup Tuesday versus the Giants.
Crews had started in each of the last six games, going 3-for-24 with no walks, a home run and three RBI. Daylen Lile, Jacob Young and James Wood are the starting outfielders for the Nationals on Tuesday as Crews gets some rest.

Nationals' Dylan Crews: Rejoining lineup Tuesday
Crews (hand) is starting in right field and batting sixth Tuesday against the Marlins, Mark Zuckerman of NatsJournal.com reports.
Crews sat out the past two games after being hit by a pitch on the hand Saturday, but he's back in action Tuesday after the swelling in his hand subsided. Since being called up by Washington in mid-May, the 24-year-old is slashing .220/.256/.317 with one home run and one steal in 43 plate appearances.

Nationals' Dylan Crews: Expected back in lineup Tuesday
Nationals manager Blake Butera said Monday that Crews (hand) will be back in the lineup Tuesday against the Marlins, Mark Zuckerman of NatsJournal.com reports.
Crews will miss a second straight start Monday after his right hand swelled up on him following a hit-by-pitch in Saturday's contest versus the Padres. However, he will be available off the bench Monday following a full round of batting practice, and is slated to return to the lineup Tuesday.

Nationals' Dylan Crews: Not ready to start
Crews (hand) is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Marlins, Mark Zuckerman of NatsJournal.com reports.
Crews will miss out on a second straight start after Nationals manager Blake Butera relayed Sunday that the outfielder's hand had swelled up after being hit by a pitch in Saturday's 9-4 win over the Padres, per Danielle Allentuck of The Washington Post. The Nationals seem to be viewing Crews as day-to-day for the time being, but if he's unable to play at any point during the three-game series with Miami, a move to the injured list would become more likely.

Nationals' Dylan Crews: Scratched Sunday
Crews was scratched from the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres for unspecified reasons.
The Nationals haven't officially announced an injury, but Crews is presumably banged up after being hit by a pitch in the hand/wrist area during Saturday's contest. He should be considered day-to-day until the team updates his status.

Nationals' Dylan Crews: Taking seat Wednesday
Crews is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Guardians.
For the first time since being called up from Triple-A Rochester on May 19, Crews will head to the bench while the Nationals go with Daylen Lile, Jacob Young and James Wood as their starters in the outfield and Jose Tena as their designated hitter. Nationals' Dylan Crews: Hits first homer in win
Crews went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 2-0 win over Atlanta.
Crews launched what proved to be the game-winning homer off Grant Holmes in the top of the fourth inning. While it's amounted to just a .200 average through 21 plate appearances, he's hit safely in four of five games since rejoining the Nationals on Tuesday. The former top prospect will need to do more to matter in most fantasy formats, but he has flashed his power-speed upside with a steal Friday and Saturday's long ball.

Nationals' Dylan Crews: Swipes first bag
Crews went 1-for-5 with a stolen base in Friday's loss to Atlanta.
The steal was the first in four games for Crews since he was called up to make his season debut with the Nationals. The 24-year-old hasn't made much of an impact otherwise, however, batting .188 (3-for-16) with zero extra-base hits, zero RBI and one run. Washington will give the second overall pick in the 2023 First-Year Player Draft plenty of chances to establish himself as an MLB regular, and Crews did bring some momentum with him to the majors after slashing .291/.339/.527 over 59 May plate appearances for Triple-A Rochester.

Nationals' Dylan Crews: Officially called up Tuesday
The Nationals recalled Crews from Triple-A Rochester on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old's promotion was reported Monday, and he's now officially been added to the major-league roster. Crews struggled to a .632 OPS in 85 games last season and opened 2026 in the minors, but he's been hitting well at Rochester this year with five homers, seven steals and a .258/.345/.432 slash line in 177 plate appearances. He is starting in center field and batting sixth in Tuesday's contest versus the Mets.

Nationals' Dylan Crews: Getting call to big leagues
Crews is expected to be recalled from Triple-A Rochester ahead of Tuesday's game against the Mets, Mark Zuckerman of NatsJournal.com reports.
Crews is slashing .258/.345/.432 with five homers, 20 RBI, seven stolen bases and 30 runs scored over 41 games so far this season at Triple-A, and the Nationals have evidently liked what they've seen out of the 24-year-old. Zuckerman notes that the plan to promote Crews was already in action before Monday's game, though Jacob Young (ribs) was hit by a pitch in the second inning and exited the game, which could result in a clearer path to playing time for Crews if Young is forced to the injured list. Expect the team to make Crews' promotion official Tuesday.
