Rangers' Wyatt Langford: Continues hot stretch vs. Cleveland
Langford went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run scored in Friday's 4-3 win over the Guardians.
The second-year outfielder launched a 398-foot solo homer off Slade Cecconi in the sixth inning, his 19th long ball of the season and third in the last six games. Langford later doubled in the ninth and came around as the tying run in the Rangers' comeback effort. Over that six-game stretch, Langford has gone 8-for-21 (.381) with nine runs scored and four multi-hit performances.

Rangers' Wyatt Langford: Homers, reaches five times in win
Langford went 2-for-2 with a solo home run, three walks and two additional runs scored in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Royals.
That's now three multi-hit games in Langford's last four outings, and he also homered Wednesday for the 18th time this year. It's been an up-and-down campaign for the speedy outfielder, though he's been rather reliable as a five-category fantasy contributor since the start of July. Over his last 39 games, Langford is batting .268 with five homers, 20 RBI, 24 runs scored and five stolen bases over 138 at-bats.

Rangers' Wyatt Langford: Belts two-run homer vs. Toronto
Langford went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer during Sunday's 10-4 win over the Blue Jays.
Langford was one of five Texas batters to smack a home run Sunday, with his taking place in the sixth inning to give the Rangers an 8-1 lead. He's up to 17 long balls on the season, which surpasses his total from his rookie campaign, though he has just two homers since the All-Star break. Langford has notched a hit in six of his last seven games and has gone 7-for-26 (.269) over that span.

Rangers' Wyatt Langford: Good to go Friday
Langford (forearm) is starting in left field and batting second Friday against the Blue Jays.
Langford was withheld from the starting nine Wednesday due to forearm tightness, but he's ready to play after Thursday's team off day. Through 11 games in August, the 23-year-old has a .237/.370/.368 slash line with two doubles, one homer, five RBi and three runs.

Rangers' Wyatt Langford: Sitting out with forearm tightness
Langford is not in the lineup for Wednesday's contest versus the Diamondbacks due to forearm tightness, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.
The Rangers don't believe Langford's forearm issue is serious, but they will have the outfielder undergo imaging just in case. Langford has been playing center field lately, but with Evan Carter (back) returning, Langford should shift back to left field against righties, once he's over his forearm issue.

Rangers' Wyatt Langford: Smashes 16th homer
Langford went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Monday's 7-6 win over the Diamondbacks.
Langford ended his home run drought Monday, launching his first bomb since July 11 with a three-run blast in the sixth inning to pull the Rangers closer. While he hasn't delivered the breakout many expected in his second season, the young outfielder still holds a solid .733 OPS with 16 homers and 15 steals through 99 games.

Rangers' Wyatt Langford: Provides key hit early in win
Langford went 2-for-3 with a three-run double, a walk and a run scored in Sunday's 8-1 win over Atlanta.
Langford opened the scoring with the productive two-bagger in the first inning, setting the tone as the Rangers took early control against Atlanta starter Bryce Elder. Prior to Sunday, Langford was in a deep slump, having gone just 3-for-34 with a 4:18 BB:K over his previous 10 games since a four-hit effort July 11 versus the Astros. He got a one-time look at leadoff versus Detroit on July 20, but he's spent the last five games in the No. 6 spot. The 23-year-old outfielder is at a .233/.315/.413 slash line with 15 home runs, 42 RBI, 45 runs scored and 15 stolen bases across 85 contests this season.

Rangers' Wyatt Langford: Moved to leadoff Sunday
Langford batted leadoff and went 0-for-4 in Sunday's 2-1 loss to Detroit.
Langford typically bats in the middle of the order but was moved up to leadoff for the night against Detroit lefty Tarik Skubal. Sam Haggerty (ankle) had been the go-to leadoff batter against southpaws recently, but he landed on the 10-day injured list Friday. Langford went hitless in the three-game series against the Tigers and hasn't recorded a hit over the last 15 at-bats, dropping his season average to .234.
