  • White Sox's Chase Meidroth: Lifts third homer Tuesday

Meidroth went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 6-5 win over the Royals.

Meidroth delivered the biggest swing of the night in the fifth inning, taking Stephen Kolek deep for a three-run homer that capped Chicago's five-run frame and gave the White Sox a lead. The blast was his third homer of the season as the infielder continues a strong stretch at the plate. Since the start of May, Meidroth is batting 13-for-39 (.333) with seven runs scored and a ten-game hitting streak. He's now slashing .277/.345/.399 with three homers, nine doubles, eight RBI and 26 runs scored across 167 plate appearances.

  • White Sox's Chase Meidroth: Belts second homer

Meidroth went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional run in a loss to the Angels on Tuesday.

Meidroth brought the White Sox to within a run with a seventh-inning solo shot, but that was the final tally by either team in the contest. The second-year infielder isn't known for his power, and Tuesday's long ball was just his second of the season. However, he's been pretty decent at getting on base, logging a .269/.342/.369 slash line along with 21 runs scored, five RBI and one stolen base through 34 games. Meidroth is working on a six-game hitting streak.

Meidroth went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a walk Saturday against the Nationals.

Meidroth tied the game at 2-2 with a sacrifice fly in the eighth inning, his first RBI since April 7. Despite the lack of production in that area, Meidroth has picked things up at the plate considerably in his last 10 games, going 14-for-38 (.368 average) with 10 runs scored and a stolen base. He's now hitting .266 on the season while maintaining a 101 wRC+.

  • White Sox's Chase Meidroth: Homers on Opening Day

Meidroth went 1-for-2 with two walks and a solo home run Thursday against the Brewers.

Meidroth was one of the few bright spots for the White Sox in a blowout loss. He led off the game with his first home run of the season and also continued to showcase his ability to get on base after posting a .418 on-base percentage across 52 at-bats this spring. Meidroth led off against righty Jacob Misiorowski, and the middle infielder's skill set suggests he should continue to hit toward the top of the order and play nearly every day.

  • White Sox's Chase Meidroth: Reaching base regularly

Meidroth has a .441 on-base percentage across 34 plate appearances in the Cactus League.

Meidroth has primarily served as Chicago's leadoff hitter this spring, though he has also hit second on a few occasions. His skillset is similar to what he showed as a rookie in 2025, as he's striking out at just an 11.8 percent clip while walking slightly over 20 percent of the time. He should reach base consistently and score plenty of runs during the regular season due to his on-base ability and the improved lineup around him.
