  • Orioles' Jud Fabian: Returns from IL

Fabian (wrist) started in center field and went 1-for-4 with three strikeouts Tuesday in Triple-A Norfolk's 10-4 loss to Memphis after being reinstated from the 7-day injured list.

Fabian had been out of action with Norfolk for just over a month due to a left wrist injury. After completing a three-game rehab assignment with High-A Aberdeen last week, he rejoined Norfolk ahead of its final series of July. The outfield prospect has produced a .221/.331/.438 slash line with 12 home runs and two stolen bases over 259 plate appearances at the Triple-A level this season.

  • Orioles' Jud Fabian: Lands on Triple-A IL

Triple-A Norfolk placed Fabian on its 7-day injured list Thursday due to a left wrist strain, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

It's not clear how long the injury might sideline the outfield prospect. Fabian has slashed .221/.332/.441 with 12 home runs and two stolen bases over 65 games at Norfolk this season.

  • Orioles' Jud Fabian: Promoted to Triple-A

Fabian was promoted to Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday, Steve Melewski of MASNSports.com reports.

Fabian has spent the entire 2024 season with Double-A Bowie and has maintained a .344 wOBA and 115 wRC+. However, he was still plagued by a 29.5 percent strikeout rate, which dampens his long-term outlook significantly.

  • Orioles' Jud Fabian: Shakes off ankle injury

Fabian (ankle) started in right field and went 1-for-5 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run Saturday in Double-A Bowie's 19-1 win over Reading.

Fabian exited early in Friday's season opener after tweaking his left ankle, but his presence in the lineup a day later suggests that his removal was merely precautionary. The 23-year-old outfielder is making his return to Bowie after he finished the 2023 campaign with the affiliate and slashed .176/.314/.399 over his 288 plate appearances at the Double-A level.

  • Orioles' Jud Fabian: Leaves game with ankle injury

Fabian was removed from Friday's game against Double-A Reading after rolling his left ankle, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Fabian's removal from Bowie's season opener was said to be precautionary. At the Double-A level last season, Fabian slashed .176/.314/.399 with 15 home runs and 12 steals over 288 plate appearances.

  • Orioles' Jud Fabian: Elevated to Double-A

The Orioles promoted Fabian from High-A Aberdeen to Double-A Bowie on Sunday, Patrick Stevens of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

Fabian pushed his way to the Eastern League after slashing .281/.392/.490 with nine home runs and 19 stolen bases over 237 plate appearances with Aberdeen. The 22-year-old outfielder's combination of on-base skills, plus power and above-average speed give him a chance at developing into an everyday player for Baltimore down the road.
