  • Rays' Michael Santos: Dealt to Rays

Santos was traded to the Rays on Monday as part of the package for Matt Moore, Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Durability concerns surround the 6-foot-4, 170-pound Santos, but he features an intriguing repertoire of pitches (fastball, curveball, slider, changeup) and he's able to consistently repeat his delivery, which allows for plus control/command. He's posted a 2.91 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 44:5 K:BB in 10 starts for Low-A Augusta this season as a 21-year-old, putting him on track to advance to the High-A level early next year.
