Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Hoping to play Thursday
Freeman said that he is "just sore" after suffering a number of minor injuries when he fell into the opposing dugout during the eighth inning of Wednesday's 4-2 win over Kansas City , David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports. Freeman added that he's hoping to play in Thursday's series opener against the Brewers.
In a scary incident, Freeman plunged into the dugout while tracking a pop-up into foul territory. Team trainer Thomas Albert said afterward that Freeman has a sore right hand, knee, foot and shoulder, but Freeman downplayed the injuries in his postgame interview. The first baseman seems like he'll lobby to play right away in Thursday's series opener in Los Angeles, though the Dodgers could err on the side of caution and give Freeman a day off if he's experiencing any lingering soreness leading up to game time.

Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Removed after fall
Freeman was removed from Wednesday's game against the Royals due to an apparent injury, Jack Harris of the California Post reports. He went 1-for-2 with a walk prior to his departure in the bottom of the eighth inning.

Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Exits with apparent wrist issue
Freeman was removed from Wednesday's game against the Cubs following the top of the fifth inning due to an apparent wrist injury, Adrian Medina of Roundtable.io reports. He went 1-for-3 at the plate before departing.
The Dodgers will likely provide an explanation for Freeman's early exit after the game, but the veteran first baseman appeared to grimace and look at his wrist following a check swing in the top of the fifth. Freeman flied out to center field to finish out the at-bat and was then replaced in the field by Enrique Hernandez in the bottom half of the frame.

Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Three more hits in win
Freeman went 3-for-4 in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Mets.
This was Freeman's third three-hit effort in a row, though all three knocks were singles Saturday. While the first baseman has been steady with the stick in July, batting .324 over 19 contests this month, he's supplied just five RBI. For the year, he's batting .299 with an .868 OPS, 15 home runs, 51 RBI, 56 runs scored, 26 doubles, one triple and five stolen bases over 102 contests.
