Wild's Nico Sturm: Sets up tying goal

Sturm registered an assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Stars in Game 4.

Sturm set up a Marcus Foligno goal in the third period. This effort ended a five-game point drought for Sturm, who has played the last two contests while both of Yakov Trenin (upper body) and Mats Zuccarello (upper body) are out of the lineup. Sturm was limited to 11 points over 49 regular-season appearances this year, and prior to this campaign, he had a total of five points in 30 career playoff outings.

  • Marcus Foligno LW | MIN

Wild's Marcus Foligno: Tallies equalizer Saturday

Foligno scored a goal on two shots and doled out seven hits in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Stars in Game 4.

Foligno earned his first point of the series when he scored at 14:40 of the third period to tie the game at 2-2. The winger has filled a bottom-six role, earning a goal, four shots, 24 hits and four PIM across four playoff contests. Prior to this playoff run, he had collected 11 points over 34 postseason appearances across six separate years.

  • Matt Boldy LW | MIN

Wild's Matt Boldy: Nets game-winner in overtime

Boldy scored a goal on four shots and added three hits in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Stars in Game 4.

Boldy tallied at 19:31 of overtime to help the Wild even up the series at 2-2. The 25-year-old has three goals, two assists, 21 shots on net, eight hits and a plus-6 rating over four playoff contests. Boldy broke out with 42 goals and 85 points over 76 regular-season appearances, so his continued scoring success in the playoffs should come as no surprise.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Tending twine Sunday

Swayman will patrol the home crease against Buffalo on Sunday in Game 4, per Belle Fraser of the Bruins' official site.

Swayman has a 1-2 record this postseason, allowing only seven goals on 101 shots. He went 19-7-1 with a 2.18 GAA and a .920 save percentage across 28 appearances on home ice during the 2025-26 regular season. Despite going 0-for-14 on the power play, Buffalo has scored nine goals through three games during the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

  • Ridly Greig C | OTT

Senators' Ridly Greig: Hit with hearing

Greig will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety for roughing Sean Walker during Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Hurricanes.

The incident in question surrounds a post-whistle scrum in which Greig punched Walker while Walker was engaged with another player. The 23-year-old Greig was not penalized on the play, but the Department of Player Safety will take a look regardless. The Senators were eliminated with Saturday's loss, so if a suspension is handed down, Greig would have to serve it at the beginning of next season.

  • Golden Knights' Trevor Connelly: Recalled from AHL

Connelly has been recalled from AHL Henderson by the Golden Knights, the team announced Sunday.

Connelly has been one of the top scorers for Henderson, the Golden Knights' AHL affiliate, registering 49 points (14 goals, 35 assists) in 46 games. With about a week in between games after the Silver Knights picked up an opening-round playoff sweep, Connelly will get a chance to spend some time with the big club. Barring an injury up front for Vegas, it's likely that the 20-year-old will be sent back to Henderson in time for Game 1 of the Calder Cup Pacific Division Finals against AHL Colorado on May 1.

  • Golden Knights' Braeden Bowman: Summoned from AHL

Bowman was recalled from AHL Henderson on Sunday.

Bowman contributed eight goals, 26 points, 75 shots on net, 24 blocked shots and 19 hits in 54 NHL appearances during the 2025-26 regular season. He could be an option for Monday's Game 4 matchup against Utah.

  • Lightning's Charle-Edouard D'Astous: Unavailable Sunday

D'Astous (undisclosed) won't play against Montreal in Game 4 on Sunday, according to Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site.

D'Astous will miss his third straight game, but he has been skating and will have additional time to recover before Game 5 against the Canadiens on Wednesday. He generated six goals, 29 points, 80 shots on net, 74 blocked shots and 96 hits across 70 appearances in the 2025-26 regular season. Once healthy, D'Astous could replace Declan Carlile in the lineup.

  • Hurricanes' Alexander Nikishin: Diagnosed with concussion

Nikishin was officially diagnosed with a concussion suffered during Saturday's 4-2 win over the Senators, the Hurricanes announced Sunday.

The injury was suffered after a massive open-ice hit thrown by Tyler Kleven. With Nikishin's diagnosis, the 24-year-old will now have to clear the NHL's concussion protocol in order to return to the ice. The good news for him is that the Hurricanes dispatched the Senators in a sweep, so Carolina will have some time off before the next round, giving the young defenseman a chance to recover. Nikishin finished with no points and a plus-1 rating in the four games against the Senators.

  • Brock Faber D | MIN

Wild's Brock Faber: Two-point effort in OT win

Faber has been impressive to begin the playoffs, collecting three goals and five points in four games as the series shifts back to Dallas for Game 5 on Tuesday.
