  • Marcus Foligno LW | MIN

Wild's Marcus Foligno: Won't play Monday

Foligno (lower body) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Golden Knights, Dylan Loucks of The Hockey News reports.

Foligno will be unavailable for a second consecutive game due to his lower-body injury. However, he's slated to meet with a medical professional Monday and is considered day-to-day for now. Across four appearances to begin the regular season, Foligno has been held scoreless with 13 hits while averaging 12:10 of ice time.

  • Wild's Calvin Pickard: Set to start Tuesday

Pickard will start Tuesday's road matchup against Winnipeg, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.

Pickard will get the second half of Minnesota's back-to-back after Jesper Wallstedt plays in Monday's home game against Vegas. The 34-year-old Pickard posted a 5-6-2 record with a 3.68 GAA and an .871 save percentage in 16 appearances for Edmonton in the 2025-26 regular season. He will make his Wild debut after signing a one-year, $1 million contract with Minnesota in July.

  • Wild's Zach Bogosian: Available for Monday's game

Bogosian (lower body) is available for Monday's game against Vegas, Dylan Loucks of The Hockey News reports.

Bogosian missed Saturday's matchup against the Panthers due to a lower-body injury, but he's been cleared to return following a one-game absence. Across his first four regular-season appearances, he's been held scoreless with two blocked shots, two PIM and a hit while averaging 16:02 of ice time.

  • Devils' Luke Evangelista: Considered game-time decision

Evangelista is considered a game-time decision for Monday's game against the Senators due to an illness, Kristy Flannery of The Hockey News reports.

Head coach Sheldon Keefe said after Monday's morning skate that he's optimistic that Evangelista will be able to suit up against Ottawa, but the Devils will still wait to see how he feels in the hours leading up to puck drop. Across his first four starts of the regular season, Evangelista has recorded two goals, an assist, three blocked shots, two PIM and a hit while averaging 18:35 of ice time.

  • Wild's Jesper Wallstedt: Gets starting nod Monday

Wallstedt will tend the twine at home versus Vegas on Monday, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.

Wallstedt will be making his sixth straight appearance to open the season, having gone 3-1-1 with a 1.78 GAA and .936 save percentage. With the Wild entering a back-to-back, the 23-year-old netminder will finally get a night off against the Jets on Tuesday, with Calvin Pickard set to make his Wild debut.

  • Colten Ellis G | BUF

Sabres' Colten Ellis: Tending twine against Florida

Ellis will start Monday's home game against the Panthers, Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News reports.

Ellis has drawn starts in two of the Sabres' last three games, going 1-1-0 with a 2.90 GAA and .880 save percentage during that time. He'll draw the start in the first half of a back-to-back set Monday, while Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen will likely defend the road crease against Montreal on Tuesday.

  • Capitals' Pierre-Luc Dubois: Ruled out Tuesday

Dubois (illness) won't travel with the team for Tuesday's clash with the Hurricanes, Sammi Silber of The Hockey News reports.

With the Caps heading into a back-to-back, it's possible Dubois will be healthy in time to face the Canadiens on Wednesday. Without the veteran center in the lineup, Ilya Protas looks set to feature on the top line with Alex Ovechkin. Through four games this year, Dubois has notched one goal and three assists, but he has zero power-play points despite averaging 2:57 of ice time with the man advantage.

  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Tending twine Monday

Ullmark will guard the road goal against New Jersey on Monday, per Andrew Wilimek of the Senators' official site.

Ullmark has been superb at the beginning of the 2026-27 campaign, stopping 81 of 86 shots and posting a 4-0-0 record. Over his NHL career, he has gone 13-5-0 with a 2.25 GAA and a .928 save percentage in 19 regular-season games against the Devils. New Jersey (2-2-0) has scored only 10 goals in four games this campaign.

  • Senators' Jake Sanderson: Ruled out for Monday

Sanderson (lower body) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Devils, Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia reports.

Sanderson exited the Senators' Opening Night matchup against Toronto due to a lower-body injury, and he'll be sidelined for a fifth consecutive game during the first half of a back-to-back set Monday. It's not yet clear when he'll be able to return, but his next opportunity to do so will be Tuesday against the Blues.

  • Devils' Nico Daws: First goalie off Monday

Daws was the first goalie to leave the ice Monday, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports, indicating he'll be between the home pipes versus the Senators.

Daws will look to bounce back from a disappointing first outing this year in which he gave up six goals on 32 shots in a loss to the Islanders. With the 25-year-old Daws getting the nod Monday, fantasy managers can expect starter Jake Allen to feature on the road versus the Red Wings on Tuesday.
